dear friends,
i remember...
how many times have you heard that phrase?
many years ago i realised that the "path" i was walking down was the "path of
life."
so what's that?
well, when we return (are reborn) we begin our walk down our path.
along the way there's many detours.
there are very few of us who don't take a walk down one of these "detours" as we
walk along our path.
sometimes we hurt the one's we love dearly as we walk down a detour,
other times we hurt ourselves,
sometimes (or should i say often) we hurt everyone.
we often wonder - why?
i have myself wondered why would i hurt those i love?
it's not because you're mean,
it's not becuase you're angry,
it's not because you don't love them, god knows you do!
so why?
could it be that you are blinded by your own needs?
could it be that you set your own pleasure before others?
could it be that you seek personal satisfaction/gratification?
could it be...?
there's a thousand answers to a thousand questions here.
i remember watching the movie "the untouchables" where sean connery was bleeding
to death and he said something to kevin costner and i've always thought this was
something worth repeating -
"are you willing to do what it takes, what's necessary?"
the answer my friends is up to you...
your detour may be long and hazardous and you may hurt many you love along the
way, but never lose faith. those who truly love you will always be there through
thick and thin and they will help you will find your way again...
though it may seem like it has taken a lifetime.
and sometimes it does!
