q: david, ive read sota and dont understand anything
about metephysics, and found it all to be very
complicated, i hate math and science and dont get what
this whole "asensation or assumption" is? is this list
for me, and without any knowledge of this process,
will i ascend?

as i can support myself, do you suggest i quit my job
in order to prepare for ascention, and what should i
do?

that they are aware of the process, of ascention, and

><tt>first of all, remember that this type of information is not in the scientific category; it is in the "subjective, not provable" category. bearing that in mind, it is my understanding from ra and other sources that only one thing will determine whether you move into the fourth-density earth or not. you simply must attain a slightly above 50% desire to be of service to others instead of following the service to self path, which involves manipulation and control over others for personal gain. it seems simple enough, but forces like television and mass media are constantly encouraging us to be materialistic and to seek to serve ourselves in every way. we are "programmed." </tt>

><tt>i would imagine that most people who have enough interest to even read my books in the first place are well over this basic vibrational requirement. the total estimated graduation for this planet, though we won't know for sure until it happens, is probably 2-5percent. let's also remember that many countries are so impoverished that service to self is almost a requirement for survival. therefore i feel that the higher forces are banking on as much as 5 to 9 percent of those in the more affluent countries graduating, simply because the relative security in those countries makes it easier to follow the service to others path. </tt>

><tt>it is not easy to remain dispassionate about the whole thing, when realizing how many people are still self-compromised. but again, this is what is right for them; this is their path, and we need to honor that. if people want to be in a state of sleep, then the best that forces like ra can do is give them comfort for the sleeping.</tt>

absolutely not. it is very important that you not lose yourself in fantasy and that you maintain a "normal" lifestyle. i will never make any suggestions to others to alter their lives in such drastic matters. remember that "catalyst" as defined by ra is anything that helps you grow... and 99 times out of 100, catalyst is something you don't particularly like. most people's jobs are exactly what is right for them at that time in their path. so now is not the time to want to have an "easy" life. instead, to take the life that you already have and make it more spiritual, make your attitude in and about your lifemore spiritual, is by far the preferable choice.

>this is well explained in the ra books. death puts you in the flipside of third-density life, known as "time-space," whereas we currently live in "space-time." [see ch.15 of ciii for details.] those who die before the shift will basically hang out in time-space until it happens. everyone who has walked the earth, either living or deceased, will experience this event. from the way it sounds,it is more dramatic and gratifying to experience it in a physical body.

there is no "black and white" with the masonic order. remember that there is a negative path that is allowed in the universe. someone can pick up a gun and shoot people and there will not be a divine force that comes in and puts up a shield around them to stop the bullets. this is well covered in part 7 of the law of one study guide.

if you are interested enough to be asking that question, why not go to "publicity updates" and listen to my second appearance on the laura lee show. i think that both my appearances on art bell are already out of the archives since they only last 30 days now.

ra teaches that there is another planet beingterraformed by the confederationfor those who do not graduate from this cycle. you would not be aware, in the sense of your physical incarnations, that you would have to "wait another 25,000 years." that would be 25,000 years of "normal" life. remember that most people on this planet have already repeated other cycles before; they can certainly do it again. furthermore, the way the cycles work is that you'd probably have thousands of years of gaps in certain places as society ebbs and flows. so even a 25,000-year period may only have20-30 incarnations, but that is highly dependent on the individual.

if it gets to the point where there are ufos all over the place in the skies, and they are shooting beams of light down and bringing people up, (such as in revelations 11:13 when it says, "god appeared on a cloud and they were borne into the heavens; and in that same hour, earthquakes shook the earth," and "cloud" could certainly be mis-translated) then at that point you definitely would have some major earth changes going on. so by the time this beaming would happen, the bible says that the big pole shift would be within one hour.

first of all i would like to thank david for personally addressing
these questions, i know they were very basic. but sometimes the most
simple questions are good reminders of whats important. believe it
or not, these questions were not nesesarilly from me, but from my
idea of what the average person might inquire about.
my intent was not to waste davids time, in fact i was not aware
that 95 percent negetivity was a posible path - dick cheney will be
pleased, although i think george will be caught in the middle.
the reason i asked these questions is that this list and its
subject matter are somewhat like a computer with the lid off.
transisiters and wires jumbled and exposed. it is our job to grasp
and take on the material. i personally enjoy the readings as most
everyone on the lsit does.
but sometimes i wonder if we are taking the easy way out by
emercing ourselves in a subject that is somewhat unapproachable to
the majority of people, maybe even some of those peoele are on this
list.
let me explain what i mean, i think to some extent we must admit
the reality that most peolple who read davids material and material
like it will be someehat turned off by the subject matter, and thus
miss the larger scope of the matterial, you might think so what, to
each there own.

do not want "large numbers, and if we reach just one person we have
succeeded."

but, remember this phrase was utered by a higher entity, and i think
that statemrnt or belief could be misconstrued by us. in other words
its easy for us to scoff at others, "and leave them behind," based on
that statement, but i think that would be missing the point.

the subject is importnat to me for somewhat selfish reasons - i
myself, am 27 and went through 25 years of my life, with no belief in
anything of this nature. and i know there are many out there like i
used to be, who might be drawn to davids material only to have no
respect or belief in it due to the fact that it was channeled. i was
jkust reading an article from the washington post in this lists
achives that showed the genreral populations scepticism towards
channeld material in general...

im sure most of the people on this list cna say that at one time in
their lives they could have read sota, and not believed whatthey were
reading.

that is why icontinually wonder what it was inside me that clicked
and slowly allowed me to understand and logically create a belief
system that allowd me to believe in higher forces and allowed me to
believe in davids and edgar cayces work.

i believe there may be a common path that may allow many more people
to believe in davids work. ill admit...we cant help but be brought
back to the comments of ra --"even if we reach just one person"......

but, when i meditate on compation-- i cant help but to think about
the others that will ignore davids work - friends, family, and the
like, all who havent a care in the world in regard to assention or
the concept there of.

i was once one of these people, and i hate to think that i had to
suffer for so long with my limited belief system, if i had it do over
again - what were the triggers that allowed me truley believe - we
must identify these.

****is it davids job, to make his work more palletable to the
masses?? absolutly not! david is near the center of the jungle,
cutting a path for the rest of us to follow, but for those of us
nearer the outside there must me some way to convince others of the
reality of david's work -

hasnt anyone ever faced the frustration that i have when exposing
their friends to davids work, and work like it.....or are you all
lucky enough only to be around people with the same beliefs.

i cant help to wonder if there isnt a way to allow others to share in
this knowledge, remember, it may be your ego that truely stops you
from wanting to convince others of this knwoledge.

knowledge is power....only to the selfish who do not share it!
