Tarot cards, used mainly for fortunetelling, are believed to have
been introduced into western Europe by Gypsies in the 15th century.
Many tarot enthusiasts say the Death card usually does not connote
physical death, but instead portrays a symbolic change or
transformation.
What does that say about the card they found that was put there by
one of the killers?

I pull a card every day for meditation,
to learn some insight or find some meaning
of the card I pull within that day.
Yesterday I pulled 10Swords, Ruin;
and then later that day I learned
about this. I felt bad for the
Tarot, the negative neuroassociations
that people are attaching to it.
Today, I pulled the Devil, Trickery;
and I so I share yesterday's insight
as a possibility that this association
is work of the Devil.
The effect is that people not accustomed
to the Tarot as Oracle will be afraid
of it. That mention of it will strike
them with fear in association to this
shooting. I would imagine most people
are ignorant of the tarot and this is
working off fear of the unknown.
The materialistic nature of our society
promotes negativity toward death and the
liberating tranformations that can
accompany it...
Fearlessly, Pat
