Has anyone experiencing posting a message that just doesn't end up
appearing? Well, I just entered one. Now I am typing this. If my post
about DeJaVu doesn't appear before this post appears, that's going to
be frustrating after typing that other post. But my main question is,
has anyone ever had a post never appear? And could this be more than
coincidence if anyone cares to go that far into it.

Periodically, Yahoo will do maintenance on their site, and at those times I have
seen many of my posts just not make it back to my Outlook. However, the posts do
seem to make it to asc2k. Other interference can be thinking you hit the send
button, but because of distractions, it didn't actually send...I do that one
alot :) And the nature of verizon anywhere is to kick you out after a certain
period of time, so you lose everything you have written. Take care Chris

I think it took like 30 minutes for it to come up after I posted it.

DW: You really need to just trust that they will show up, as we had two
people unsubscribe yesterday as rafts of eight or nine of the same posts
came into the Inbox. Beware of the instant gratification trap. They ALL have
ALWAYS showed up, it just isn't happening as quickly as your personality
self would like.

I'm sorry that they unsubscribed. One reason also why I don't have it
sent to my mail is it would severely clutter it than rather reading
it in the group listings.

DW: Severely clutter? ... OK people, be nice to him now... :)

Not necessarily. In Outlook Express, all you have to do go File - Folder -
New Folder and set up a sub-folder within the Inbox called "asc2k" or
something like that. Then, the next time you get a message from us in the
email, go under Message - Create Rule from Message - where the Subject line
contains - then fill in " [asc2k] " as every message will have that in
brackets, then Move to - then select your asc2k folder. Then everything
routes right in automatically and you can keep track of all of it. Easy
peezy.

For me this is by far a preferable method - and I also have a backup in case
there was ever a Yahoo meltdown.

Peace be with you -
