Hi. I just landed, so to speak. I'm pleased to meet all of you and
hope our future discussions will be inspiring and interesting.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone use
the chat room? I'm having problems with the voice programming; I
thought I'd ask someone here, first, before bothering the yahoo
people about it.
Here is an observation that I have made concerning the Divine
Cosmos, which I've recently finished. First, let me say that I have no
background in physics, though I do have a bit of knowledge of
alternative energy, and I've studied the so-called paranormal for
quite some time. A lot of the divine material was over my head
physics-ly speaking, but perserverance wins the prize.
What I noticed was, that I began thinking in shapes. Or, perhaps
more accurately, since having more background on the platonics and
their presence in our universe, I discovered what had been there to
which I had been blind. The shapes seem to be multi-dimensional and
full of so much information it makes my head hurt. My wee 3-d brain is
having a spot of difficulty with attempting to think (I think) in a
multi dimensional way.
Now, my questions to all of you are: did anyone else have a similar
experience while reading Divine Cosmos? Has anyone (besides, perhaps
David) had any experience(s) thinking in more than three dimensional
terms, consciously as opposed to dream state, or altered state of
consciousness?
so long and thanks for all the fish,
April
