relating to what is being said below, i can kind of see two different
kind of nightmares myself. one being a physical type, where the
nightmare involves being physically tortured somehow, like something
is going to physically hurt you or something. (and by the way, i'm
referring to assumingly self-thought dreams and nightmares.) the
second would be a mental nightmare, which could consist of the
following: repeating or repetitive dreams in like a 2 hour period i
would assume, where the short scene is keep being flashed like maybe
every 15 minutes or so, i think. and another mental nightmare would
be trying to do something you fear doing in real life, but due to the
restrictions of dreaming, it makes it harder to focus in the dream in
getting whatever is needed to be done. like a made up example would
be trying to get from point a to point b, where in real life it would
be a challenge maybe, just maybe cause you could be late now and
then. but in the dream, you can't focus as easily in detail of how to
get from a to b because you can't remember, but in real life you
could. and one way to get over that would be to imagine yourself at
point b, without going through the process you'd need in real life.
