Regarding SS numbers,
Keep in mind that those numbers--and any
other number applied to you--are the
"government's" numbers, not yours. They were
created by and enforced by the "government"
and, through their unmatched deceit, most
people have been compelled to use the various
numbers, licenses, permits, ad nauseam in
order to manage their lives. Never think of
those numbers as being "yours"--think of them
as something else than being "yours", I
suggest.
Your continued use of any such
"government"-issued IDs is accepted prima
facie evidence in all commercial "courts of
law", hence you can't win in that forum. The
e-mail record of your going online to "opt
out" can be used against you, but I
understand the reasons why you'd wish to opt
out. I am pointing all of this out so that
at least you can be aware of what traps the
"government" has created for the people.
Only the act of Expatriation/Repatriation
with properly Notarized paperwork to back up
one's Sovereignty excludes one from any
compelled use of any "government" ID, thus
obviating any need to opt-out. Yet the
Sovereignty path is no panacea--it is
difficult and arduous, but at least, one owns
oneself as humanly possible. Just another
path to choose.
