"It takes extreme practice and dream journaling
for the average dreamer to even remotely have the
possibility of controlling a dream."
Colin,
Well here I go being in the minority and strange
categories or groupings again ;) I have vivid, movie
motion pictures in full living color every night. I
truly feel as if I am living another life at night. I
wake up exhausted. I've studied alot of dream
symbology and from what I've found (only my experience
not limiting anyone's concepts) is that most dream
symbology is universal as in water, houses, cars, but
many dream meanings are subjective to the individual.
I have had alot of ET/world change futuristic dreams
that I just thought were strange until I read some of
the prophecies of Edgar Cayce and RA and realized
these were actually realistic enough to happen at some
point in time. This has been the norm for me since I
was very young.
Now, I'm actually going to make a point here lol (told
you I was long winded) I have nightmares a great deal
of the time and have learned in the past few years how
to change them and control them. I make myself
realize that I'm dreaming, it's not really happening
and change the course of it.
Blessings,
Karen

Hey Karen!
As I mentioned to Doomstar, check out Davids Dream analysis in the
Files section. I'm no dream expert, I was just shooting off random
facts. That's awesome you dream so much, and control them. David will
often break down dreams if you post them. Oh, and though dreams have
very generic details, David said that dreams are very selfish,
everything is about you in some way.

The only times I can remember controlling dreams was during
nightmares. I haven't had one in awhile, but I remember reading that
nightmares are your subconscious literally screaming and forcing you
to deal with an issue or chakra blockage. Yes they're scary, but
obviously there's an important message for your conscious to address.
In love and light,
Colin

karen have you ever seen the really bad movie with demi moore that is on the
movie channels sometimes...i will have to remember what it is called...but
it is good for the shear excitement of trying to figure out which is her
waking life and which is her dream....
she goes to sleep in one life to wake up in another and then goes to bed
there and wakes up in her original life...
it is really good though...if you are interested i will think of the name

Hi,
I think the movie is called Passions of the Mind. It was a very
interesting movie. You can sometimes catch it on tv or they usually have it
at a good video store. I rented the video from Blockbusters. It was worth it.
I think the film was made maybe in 1998 or 1999 -- anyway, it is a fairly
recent movie.
