found out about this in a disclosure end game thread, but thought it definitely deserved its own thread - especially if it ends up being as significant as a few guess/hope.
tomorrow, thursday, december 2 at 11:00am pst (perhaps they'll push it until 11:11?) nasa is holding a press conference "to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life."
here's a link (http://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/news/releases/2010/m10-110.html) to the announcement on nasa's site.
i've read a claim by one person who says the us gov has until the end of the month to disclose. don't know if that's true or not, but if it is - how does this presser relate?
tomorrow could be the big day! what do you think?

based on nasa's history, i wouldn't hold my breathe expecting some big news to be announced. it's probably nothing too shocking if anything at all

there's speculation based on the panel that it might have something to do with arsenic-based life forms.

well, let's see, i could choose to be cynical (no judgement on anyone who chooses this path) and have history on my side by saying paltry disclosure, or i could choose to put positive intention to the universe and say "full disclosure" having the future on my side... hmmm...
i think i'll choose "full disclosure"

yeah, i was really hoping for more. i had envisioned a surprise appearance by barack and a special guest who happened to be dressed a little "differently" than normal people.
no worries, if dr. boylan is to be believed...less than a month till the deadline.

it's my understanding that they are not arsenic based life, they are carbon based. they do however consume arsenic and replace the phosphates in their nucleic acids(dna) with arsenic.

that would be great.
simply, imo, its going to take more "droplets" like this before any semblance of a "wave" occurs.
this is good news in the sense that new possibilities are being proven/accepted. it kinda creepy at the same time, to think of what new kinds of things might come of this.

well actually i was asking in anyone in general. i guess you could say this doesn't surprise. i personally don't see this as groundbreaking disclosure. nasa already knows we are being visited but decided to announce something like this instead.

i understand. we already know as well, itpg97. as much as i'd like an explosive disclosure moment, it is becoming more apparent that it will only be an accumulative occurrence.
relative to us or nasa, this info is "yawn." lol
relative to the general scientist, this will perk em up. ... my brother in law wants to be a doctor ( he is a chiropractor. the kind that doesn't believe in energy chakras ). anyway, his mentality is "i believe aliens exist, i just don't care." i hope this type of info will cause this mentality to care a little bit more. or, on the other hand, maybe he is silently waiting for groundbreaking disclosure himself before he gives a *care*.
still waiting for my first close encounter of any kind,

i saw that video and i agree. david should be doing the presentation. what i find interesting about all these people who are trying to awake the masses is that none of them can agree on if there are just good aliens out there or good and bad.
i can't say whether i disagree with greer or not because i have not traveled the cosmos. so what is the truth? who are we really supposed to be listening to?

everyone, and no one. take it all in, decide what makes the most sense to you. but never believe in anything so much that you can't disbelieve it.
