It's so simple yet hard to see
We chemically induce to feel that we are One with Thee
Subconciously seeking to find or begining
Experiencing while we are sinning
These drugs give us the familiarity of being One
The utmost euphoria like walking with His son
We are being tricked
We are being burned
There is a lesson to be learned
We need to learn how to get Here on our own
That is when Light will truley be shown
So take His hand and go within
Aknowleging experience's sin

Great Poem, thanks!
I love the beautiful bracketed symmetry.
I like the theme of overcoming addictions.
(It reminds me of the work of Ken Keyes Jr.)
And the concept of "sin" which implies
"taking away from our potential",
gave me a great feeling on the last line.
Admiringly,
Pat

to all you poets
do you ever write something "in the mood" and then look back and wonder who
wrote that?
i write tons of stuff down in my little books...quotes from all over...i
usually put where i got it from, even jeremy is forever quoted in that
little book...but what i am getting at is that i wrote something the other
day...i was driving and just overwhelmed to write it to a friend...and i
pulled up to where i was going and wrote it down and then went inside...well
yesterday i was looking for it and i KNOW that the page i was looking at is
what i wrote...because i was running out of room and it wrapped around,
etc...but reading it...does not seem what i thought i was writing about at
all and if i hadn't have KNOWN if it would have been a few months later..i
would have thought it was just one of my "quotes" of something that moved me
that i wrote down...i guess a sort of "did that come out of me"
so i have been religously making sure i put where i got the quote from...if
even initials...and i still go back through and read things that have no
source (so they are mine) and wonder how they got there...
doest that make sense at all???

Hi Tiffani, Maybe Clark knows the poetic answers.
From his recent science post, I especially liked
these words of his: very poetic, very beautiful. Pat
"Peaceful setting, as I approach 25years into my
rebirth. Under the tree I await with anticipation
of knowing the One, as I nectar from the fruits of
knowledge, contemplating all of existence.
Where there is no way, there is way."
Clark
