Heya group, this is another personal story without anything to do with
ascension and is probably way off topic, so now being fore warned you
can read it if you are bored or discard it as irrelevant..
This happened to me about 4 years ago.
My birthday is November 6th so I am a Scorpio..On my b-day I received a
gold scorpion charm for my necklace..The charm is really nice with
moving legs and claws..I put it on my necklace and decided I would wear
this charm most the time with my necklace cuz I liked the looks of it so
much..That night I went to bed and left the necklace on (usually I take
my necklace off before bed) I had a pretty intense dream (this was
before I started keeping a dream journal so can't recall what it was
about) and woke up and felt something crawling on me..I brushed my chest
where I felt the crawling and felt my hand brush off something pretty
big so that woke me completely up..Remember I got arachnaphobia, so I
was thinking oh crap a spider, jumped up and turned on the lights and
looked besides my bed and there was a scorpion..This is the same day I
received the charm!! I know I have mentioned a spider in my house and
now a scorpion but my house is usually bugs free, it's not like these
are common occurrences with insects in my home..Anyways, I can't bring
myself to squash the scorpion and trap it and free it outside (nowhere
to close to my house though)..I think damn that was weird but write it
off as a coincidence..
The weekend that followed my b-day I went and visited my mom and we were
sitting out on her porch and I show her my charm I got, she looks over
at it and says, "what is it a lobster?"
I say "it's a scorpion", and get up to give her a closer look.
She replies "why you got a scorpion charm?" I remind her I was born in
November and it was my Zodiac sign..I sit back down after letting her
get a good look at it, and begin telling her of the scorpion in my
bed..We are sitting on her outdoor porch that is partially enclosed and
I lean back in my chair and underneath the handrail is this huge
scorpion..I shrieked like a woman and jumped up and said "holy crap
there's a huge scorpion right here!!" It was probably the biggest
scorpion I have seen in real life outdoors..It was so big cuz it had all
it's babies with it, carrying them on her back !! I'm sorry to report
that this scorpion and babies didn't survive the encounter, there was no
way my mom was going to let a whole squad of scorpions live outside her
house she informed me as she handed me a shoe..
Now I am beginning to think I have had 2 encounters with scorpions in
less then a week after receiving my charm..
Hmm, I'm beginning to wonder about this charm..
That night I gather with some friends to sit around, drink and play
cards...We are sitting on the floor playing cards and I recite my story
for them about all the scorpion encounters and while the cards were
being dealt a little scorpion crossed the carpet across the cards and
headed straight for me..Now you can imagine the ruckus this caused cuz I
was telling the story and here comes another one..If the scorpion hadn't
come from across the room, across the cards to head straight for me, my
friends might of thought I planted the scorpion there but there was no
doubt cuz everyone playing cards and were watching had seen it...That
was one too many times so I had to shelf the charm..Every since then I
have stayed with my cross charm, if I want someone visiting me I much
rather talk with Jesus then more scorpions..
About a year ago I wore the charm again and when I went to my
partners house for work his wife commented on how nice my charm was,
well I had to tell them the story about all my encounters..They agreed
it was odd and she left for work while we headed to work..Before we had
made it to the work site she had called him on his cell and told him she
had almost gotten into an accident cuz a scorpion had crawled across her
lap as she was driving to work..So once again the scorpion charm is
replaced with my cross..
Call me superstitious, but the circumstances around the charm are just
to much for me to write off as chance..
