thought i'd stir up the "pot" with a little personal news...
i had an absolutely breathtaking experience this morning. after reading a
book on obes and taking a bit of a break from work, going to sleep quite
early last night, i had a full-blown lucid dream / obe that lasted literally
two and a half hours. i have had these before, though not frequently and
very seldom this long or complex. the difference with this one that set it
apart from the others was that i was actively interacting with the other
characters in the dream and addressing them as representing the higher
beings themselves in a cloaked form. i was actually analyzing the metaphors
of my experiences as i went through them and asking the characters in the
dream for clarification. there had to be about 40 different sections and i
was able to retain about a third of them. totally unbelievable. some parts
were really scary, others amazingly joyful and i knew that this is what it
would feel like to be ascended. i was actively living it, going wherever i
wanted to go and there just seemed to be so many different experiences it
was almost overwhelming! so much information was being given to me about
myself and how to become a master that it was like 40 dreams all compressed
into one shot!
i am seeing how much more there is to do in this state; it is something that
i am only just beginning with but has amazing potential.
interactions with hoagland going well and the possibility of an appearance
on art bell might be soon in coming. someone was nice enough to donate us
money to get a laptop computer for $550. for those who care, it's a 233 mmx
pentium, 64m ram, 20x cd, 2g hd, 512k cache, 56k modem, 12.1' tft display,
3.5 onboard floppy, soft carrying case. we got a really great deal; today i
was doing work in a waiting room! there's a problem with the battery pack
charger so i still need to be an outlet-hunter wherever i go. what a feeling
it is to not be tethered to the house to do this work. and to all our
benefactors whose financial assistance has helped so much in these last few
months, thank you!!! the push to the finish line is now on full blast -
wherever we travel, the project will continue.
peace be with you -

> awesome! cool dreams just rock, i sort of know what kind of feeling that is (but not on the level you had apparently!). i need to read some books on lucid dreaming... whenever i'm in a dream, i often interact consciously with the characters, but have only one known that it was a dream, and have never been able to be consciously outside of the circumstances of the dream's plot. i've started recording dreams again, but keeping up with school and work really messes up my sleep schedule... i'll be glad when i'm done this winter!
> i've had one obe where i *knew* it was an obe, and it was simply my body floating at bed level but i was rotated at the feet to my right 90 degrees and was sort of struggling to lift myself up and move myself in the air. i wasn't making much progress and the experience eventually ended. i used to really want to have an obe and other sort of psychic experiences, but even before the obe experience i had realized that it wasn't necessarily the ultimate results that i was shooting for (though i would welcome the experiences) and so the obe was just a neat affirmation of the reality of this whole metaphysical stuff.
> one other thing, my girlfriend made me a 4-5" tall tetrahedron from wood, it's really cool and is hanging from the ceiling in my living room. i got it for valentine's day (in addition to a box of chocolates - what am i supposed to do with that?) ;-)

>p.s. i was reading book 5 of tloo and there was a session where don asked about a dream carla had and ra said that the nightmarish nature of the dream was influenced by the orion group. can negative influence on dreams affect the messages they hold for us from our higher selves, or are they inert? general question to group.
