hello everyone! my name is marlon, and i'm pretty much new to the board! :d after about a year of going through divine cosmos and the law of one series, i've decided to actually sign up. lol
but anyway, i just have a small question. i'm now starting to seriously study the law of one series ( i've already read it. but now i'm actually trying to commit it all to memory ) and i'm just absolutely blown away by the fact that ra was an intelligent extraterrestrial being made to be a deity in ancient egypt. so i started thinking about the other gods and goddesses, in particular isis because she interests me most.
now i don't know a lot about ancient egypt or anything but i do know that isis for the most part, is compared a lot to mary from christianity. is it safe to say that isis was real and could very well have been an extraterrestrial too, or apart of an ancient race? like, we obviously know where ra comes from when we see that name pop up in egyptian culture, but what about the other gods/goddesses?
again, thanks and hello all!

many of the gods in ancient egyptian religion are traced back as actual ets in sitchin's books. however, the egyptian gods are also representative of so much more. they are archetypes, and additionally represent different parts of the body as well as our consciousness and evolutionary stages. i've just read a wonderful book (pm me for title and author) about an ascended civilization called the hathors, whose influence was very active in the ancient egyptian mystery schools.
to get back to isis, she very well could've been a real person, but her true "importance" comes from the symbolism that ensuing generations bestowed upon her. the most potent of those being associated with the egyptian trinity; isis, osiris, and horus. osiris is murdered by set, and isis seeks the help of thoth to help bring osiris back from the dead. she may be compared to inanna/ishtar, however i don't feel that they were the same person.
since egypt has had so much et influence in the past, it would be hard to say which faction she may have been a part of. thoth says that the sirians intergalactically conceived humans with the nephilim, so maybe she was either sirian or nephilim. the term nephilim is really a blanket one, since literally translated it means "those who from heaven to earth came", and this could in theory mean any et race. thoth talks about how the nephilim were here in the beginning, and how they were guardians of this planet, giants in size/stature.
i feel that all mythological gods were probably real physical entities at some point in time, but that their godly abilities may have been embellished as time went on. as their real lives got further and further into the past, their personas became more symbolized, and the stories began to emerge. imo, all myth and legend has a basis in reality. the problem with the ancient egyptian "myths" is that the earth in ancient times had so many different et races and influences (most especially egypt). i think the truth has gotten lost in some of those et races' power plays on one another.
i could go into this more, but i'll stop here.

i just remembered an isis connection that may be of use to you. it has to do with the story of ra ta, as gathered from the cayce readings. she was involved in a plot made against ra ta; essentially to bring him down. to make a long story short, ra ta was banished, as well as isis. they both traveled together and ra ta was able to teach his "ascended abilities" to her, so she then took them on for herself. this could be one of the ways that she was deified. when ra ta and isis return to egypt, and demonstrate their new abilities, many probably would've thought these "powers" to be god-like.
