View Full Version : Bob's My Uncle
My uncle Bob is waiting for a liver transplant. The surgeon told him most people die before they get a transplant. It seems they may be right. He'll be58 years old in two days. Still young. His kids are barley grown.
He is in ICU right now in serious condition calling for my grandmother (his mom) who passed on ten years ago, surrounded by his current wife, his ex-wife and his kids.
I'm hoping it's not too late to send him some healing energy because I believe this group can move mountains. If he could just hold on until the family has finished being tested or an outside donor comes through...
Thanks guys. I appreciate you all more than you could ever know.

A situation like this always has the possibility to bring about hearts to open up and healing to occur whether your uncle survives or not. I just lost a dear friend of mine and somehow his pasing has brought me closer to the living, though i'm still mourning.
I will think of you and pass the love i feel for my friend over to your family.

Sending love and emerald green healing light for Bob.
I first wrote about my uncle in February. My uncle had the liver transplant yesterday. I'm sure it was your healing thoughts and prayers that kept him strong enough for the surgery this long. Thank you.
He's been in the hospital for months now with other organs failing and was #1 in Canada on the list for a donor. No liver ever became available!
His brother, my uncle Steve, spent months being tested and was finally deemed to be a match in good health and so the surgery finally took place yesterday. Both my uncles are in stable condition this morning.
I was thinking what a service to others thing to do to be a live donor, but just as STO is to donate your organs when you die. I can't believe that there was not one dead donor in all those months. No wonder they say you are more likely to die then to receive a transplant.
My uncle was in good spirits before the surgery joking that when he has fully recovered we will all celebrate with a dinner of liver and onions:D
I know that if he wasn't supposed to make it, he wouldn't have, but I like to believe that it was all the healing energy and thoughts from you guys that kept him strong enough to endure the surgery once a donor was finally found.
If I could impose again for you to keep both my uncles - the donor and the recipient - in yours thoughts and prayers, I know it will help them both heal. Thanks again everyone.

Hi Kris,
I am sorry I did not contribute to the original cause as I have not seen this post before.
I have sent your uncles a prayer and a love bomb loaded to bursting point with love and speedy healing particles.
They will be up and about in no time.
Send them all of our best wishes from the UK. :D
Matt
Kris,
Your uncles have been in my thoughts since I read your post yesterday. Positive thoughts have been sent their way.
Take care,

Hi Kris,
How are your uncles doing? It has been 10 days since your last post and for the benefit of those who have sent them healing thoughts, do you have an update on their condition?
Lots of love to you, Mark and the whole family.
Matt :)
Thanks for asking Matt. :)
Both surgeries went well. The donor (my uncle Steve) was released from the hospital six days after the surgery, so that's a good sign. It takes about a month to recover fully. He looked pretty good when I went to see him four days after the surgery.
The recipient (my uncle Bob) looked to be about 80 lbs. and 80 years old, (he's 59). I could only see him for a minute because he wasn't feeling very well, but that's to be expected.
But you know what, there is now hope whereas before we only had hope that he would live long enough to have the surgery. Now we have hope he will recover and get back to the task of living a full life.
Thanks again to everyone who kept my uncles in their thoughts and prayers. I know there are many of you out there that do not post, but send your positive thoughts and love to those of us who ask. It is truly appreciated.

Thanks for the update Kris,
What a selfless act from your uncle Steve - there is so much darkness in the world and its people like him that shine a bright light that shows humans can be the kindest and caring members of creation. :)
With uncle Steve well and truly on the mend, I will send uncle Bob the deepest feeling of healing love I can. He needs as much positive energy as he can get and I ask everyone who reads this to do the same for him. There is no act greater than being able to set aside some time for someone else who is in need.
Love to you all, especially Bob at this time.
Matt
