the following is a passage from session 10 of the law of one, detailing the final destruction of atlantis:

"approximately 11,000 of your years ago, the first of the, what you call, wars, caused approximately forty percent of this population to leave the density by means of disintegration of the body. the second and most devastating of the conflicts occurred approximately 10,821 years in the past according to your illusion. this created an earth-changing configuration and the large part of atlantis was no more, having been inundated. three of the positively-oriented of the atlantean groups left this geographical locus before that devastation, placing themselves in the mountain areas of what you call tibet, what you call peru, and what you call turkey."

now, what i want to know is what sort of knowledge was taken to these lands (tibet, peru, turkey) and was it passed down? was the tibetan knowledge kept alive, and later mixed in with the buddhist traditions? is that what makes tibetan buddhism so distinctive and special?

and what about peru? what do the shamans there really know?

and turkey. mysterious, and not entirely islamic, has that region kept any secrets alive?

now i know that people have moved and migrated, and cultures change and morph, but the peoples of those lands (tibet, peru, turkey) have retained a distinctive physical look. any thoughts?

when i read that part of the ra material , i did ask same question in my mind. i believe that the roots of those believe systems are based on those first atlanteans. maybe only high priest of those religions have the knowledge o knows something about them.

i wouldn't be surprised if there were teachings handed down to this day that date from atlantis, though i imagine they would be, as ra said about tantric yoga, always half-lost.

w. e. butler mentioned "lands now lost" in one of his books, so apparently atlantis is known about in the western magical tradition, though i'm not sure where the information came from (ie whether it was channeled or not.) actually, now that i think about it i believe butler said something to the effect that either the teachings or the brotherhood or both could trace ancestry to lands now lost.
