does anyone have any good tips on how to do this?

i had an experience in my attic, while looking through some old boxes. it was hot and i was feeling lightheaded and getting somewhat frustrated. while i was looking to the right at a box i was sorting through, my left hand began rapidly tearing at the insulation on the left wall beside me. i looked over to see that i was uncovering and it was a hidden metal box full of documents from nearly 60 years ago. there were also some old coins and other small treasures.

has anyone had any similar experiences?

my experience has led me to curiosity and after hearing dw's "ox" incident, i wanted to try the writing technique myself.

i tried this before, it takes some training. such as: not being aware of that you write, simply be the channel of something.
if you are aware of that you're writing it is likely that you hamper the message with your own distortions.
i got random stuff like

"dopples nowhere oppression"
"human yoghurt g an rope"

knowing how to meditate helps i suppose.
i don't have any tips yet, i'll continue trying =)

i'm new to purposely trying to "channel" and meditating, but i've looked back on some of my art and saw deeper meanings that can relate to now that i didn't purposely put there. just like some of my journals from way back seem to fit with things i can see more clearly now.
i feel we're all a channel or vessel at any given time, for both good and bad purposes, and the wider you open the doors, the heavier the traffic flow. it's definitely a challenge you have to be prepared for, i believe, and having your life in complete balance before you attempt is the safest way to go. or else you could slip very easily into a deep negative pattern.

thank you for your reply and if you come across any good tips or techniques, i'd love to see them. :)

i have easily been able to do autowriting for about 4 months now. i am at the point now where i can have little question and answer sessions.

of course, proper precautions are taken, as with anything, to keep my light safe and to ensure contact only with those of like light and vibration.

if youd like to know any of my specific techniques feel free to pm me. i also feel that each person has their own best ways to connect. so keep that in mind. somethings are just better done with your own instictual advice, in my opinion. but im all about sharing as well. :) (if that even makes any sense, hahaha)

thank you, kassandraloves.
i'm all about sharing but it's true that what works for one person may not work for another. i view the world's information like a giant buffet table we all contribute to and all fill our plates with. some dishes are incredibly delicious and some taste like burnt socks. some of the food is good for you and some will make you sick, fat or break out in a rash which may even kill you, if you're allergic. and just because there's a chance someone might choke on something we make, doesn't mean we shouldn't contribute to the table, we tried. and just because someone else's food tastes horrible to us, doesn't mean we should ban them from sharing forever. though, if someone is purposely spiking the cool aid, i may change my mind about that.

i'm sure it would be very much appreciated by all, if you could share a few of your techniques on this thread. i've had difficulties with automatic writing as well; although from what i hear it does take some practice...

alright, well, its very difficult to explain with words, but i can sure take a shot at it. im not sure if the forum rules allow for this sort of thing, but nonetheless here goes:

a lot of it is highly visual as with a lot of meditative techniques and i am very in control with my visualization. being an artist and a very avid writer already, i think that makes me an easy channeler because in my opinion, writing and art can easily be channeling without the channeler even knowing it.

anyhow, i usually meditate prior to the automatic writing for however long it takes me to get "in the zone." this can come as quick as 10 minutes or as long as 1 hour at times.

once i am "in the zone" i create a light pathway. internally its a pathway through my physical/mental body (sort of like the parting of the red sea, lol) where everything is still intact, but i am moving just enough aside for there to be a white pathway of light from crown all the way down into my fingers of my right hand (which i use to autowrite with). outside of my body that light pathway opens up into a large white glowing funnel, if you will. that funnel is open to those of positive vibration to communicate with me. i also use my aura as a white bubble/shield to keep anything out that i do not wish to have a conversation with. the premise of that white light is that darkness cannot exist while it is present. darkness cannot interact with it. and if that is not true in most circles, then i manifest that premise into the light itself and into my being. sometimes i choose to autowrite with my guide, sometimes higher self, sometimes its others.

i actually start in with question and answer sessions. where i write the question myself onto my paper. i firmly concentrate on the words in my spirit-mind, that way i am manifesting it as thought and i am writing it simultaneously. i think this aids me because there are 2 forms of the question to make it have a heavier "impact" and be piked up on more easily. because i assume just as it is difficult for us to understand "them" all the time, its probably the same vice-versa. alos, environmental distractions (as with most meditations) should be avoided as much as possible when doing this. your mind wandering can make the connection weak.

then, with my eyes closed i feel the "entity" (or whatever you may call it) using my extremities to create words. i feel it more externally than internally actually. kind of like when someone else places their hand just above your skin and you can feel it there even though it isnt touching you. almost like your tiny little hairs can feel it. its hard to explain, lol. but you can feel that sensation pushing in whatever direction the writer wants to go. so its less of them controlling me and more of me feeling their will and going with it. see what i mean? the handwriting can actually be characteristic of who i am speaking with, too, which is always interesting. loopies in the same spots and stuff like that.

i also have quite a series of "control" questions (like in a science experiment) that i use to be doubly sure of who i am allowing myself to communicate with. the energy is usally really easy to read but im still very cautious. it is wise to be sure that anything that instills fear or just doesnt feel right is probably a reason to disconnect and learn to protect yourself better...

anyway, i ask the question and get an answer, that easy really. im not looking at the paper, and i never know really what the answer is going to be until i feel how the pen has been writing (i.e. which letters i am feeling being written) and/or when i actually open my eyes and see what it is after the answer is finished being written. its like i go from participant (when asking questions) to spectator (when getting answers).

ive had other things happen, like constellations being drawn and words that i couldnt decipher for the life of me, and other things. but its all very positive and gentle. also, i have to sometimes ask questions in the same fashion that the ra channelers had to, like being very blunt and literal and sometimes having to settle with the fact that some stuff is just beyond autowriting's capabilities. a lot of the time i have to stick with simple yes and no type questions and answers. but, i imagine that you have to start out crawing before you can walk, right?

anyway, i guess thats my "technique" sharing. ill probably think of additions after im done posting this so dont be suprised if theres more ;)

poster's note: in no way am i a teacher or have my own meditation or autowriting business, nor do i expect anyone on this website including david wilcock to support and endorse my methods/practicing of auto-writing. hopefully this will be ok to post.

[mod: i'm alright with this as long as we're not discussing channeled messages]

love and light! <3

oh, in addition, you really have to be in a completely objective state. you will pollute the information if your ego/brain are allowed to. it takes a lot of meditative work to not be involved with it. you have to be able to completely stand aside when you are autowriting. no interference whatsoever. otherwise your material may be coming more from the current you and any previous complexes you may have. not that thats always a bad thing, but in autowriting its a good idea to just step aside, you know?

no problem :d

also, id like to add that when i am actually writing, i am holding the pen very differently from what i normally would. i think its helpful in taking "me" out of the equation. for my questions im writing, and for their answers they are writing. i also dont hold the pen with a very firm grasp.
its very upright (not leaning the pen) and very light (not grasping the pen very firmly at all, the opposite of what i would normally do).

i also think its paramount to meditate correctly when preparing to autowrite. you must clearly state your intentions and really feel the connection to all. thats the part thats the most challenging to explain but you really, really need to not just say or feel that you are all connected, but know it. live it. see it in your minds eye and be connected.

others (or your higher self) will suredly do the same and the connection will be easy to make for practicing this. thats another reason to take precaustion actually, because all who know they are connected to all can see your open channel. so please make sure you protect yourself. ask the right questions and bathe yourself and your connection "strings" in light and love. and for god's sake put a smile on! it feels great to meet our other selves.

may the light always be in your heart and in all others, too. happy writing!!!

p.s. thanks mods for allowing me to share.
