thank you!!!!!!!!!!

whoever posted the information about yerba mate a few weeks ago!!

i found the guayaki brand in a health food store yesterday and i tried it
this morning!! it's great! i used a molita (the bag says you can also use a
mesh ball or a french press).

it's more expensive than organic coffee but i read on one of the web sites
listed below -- that yerba mate is strong enough to make several cups from
one teaspoon (i tried it and it's true). i love it!!

i noticed it has the pick-up benefit of coffee.

from guayaki.com:

>>
it has health benefits and it's also a mental stimulant.
vitamins: a, c, e, b1, b2, niacin (b3), b5, b complex minerals: calcium,
manganese, iron, selenium, potassium, magnesium, silicon, phosphorus

15 amino acids, fatty acids, chlorophyll, flavenols, polyphenols, trace
minerals, and antioxidants

tastes nothing like coffee, more like green tea.
and the stimulant is from a active compound within the same family as
caffine, but with some different effect.
like as far as i know , which is based on the german's research , you would
know from the guayaki site.
not a dehydrator, (min. diuretic)..
has many nutrients, aminos, minerals...and coffee is a anti-vitamin,
dehydrator, etc...

i have found a another kind of organic, it is tastier and less potent, head
wise anyways, mind you i am sensitive to the oven being on..?!#@
you know with the south magnetic poles and all, which essentially acidifies
your blood, which incidently is much like crt tv's, monitors, in this case
working off positive ions, simular effect though.

try some, it's the only way, might wanna start of in the bag form, the loose
tea is pretty strong, that s for later.

peace, love, wisdom, all that balanced issh,
clark

whoops missed you end part,
ok i know that i know you have tried it, for summer's this is the recipe
that worked at the festival last year, people went off about it.
and this is a more nutrient preserving factor, rem. no boiling with this
stuff..
add this to water, ice, some lemon juice, and cane , stevia(no blood sugar
induction), honey (more alkaline)..
i also make a chai smoothie out it,
2 frozen bananas
cup rice milk
1/2 cup mate (sometime in base withother teas; thyme, mint, ginseng)
2 tbs. hemp butter
1 tsp. sasparilla/vanilla extract (bonus)
1 tsp. cinamon
, and small pinch of anise

pbwyall,
c

hi richard,

yerba mate does not taste anything like coffee. it's a strong green tea
beverage (it's different than other green tea i've tasted)

i tried the plain variety (there are 4-5 flavored versions).

yes, there's caffeine.

i realize that quotes from before about coffe (from cayce...every once in a
while) i was wondering what the perspective on decaf is? i am not sure what
the process is to make decaf? or if it is natural in the bean...but is
organic decaf a good alternative?
thanks
