The Gospel of Thomas

fellow ascensionists,

this is my first post although i have followed closely the development of the
asc2k site since it's early days. i will follow suit and offer a brief intro...
i have been bombarded with 11:11's since 1989, 22:22's for the past year or so
and more recently 1:44's. i am convinced the universe, god, talks to us,
amongst other things, through numbers. synchronicities flood my life. i live
humbly, on a most beautiful beach, in new zealand and suffice to say, i'm on
'the path'.

just before christmas brother korga posted the gospel of thomas. it was the
first time i had heard of these writings and since then they have been of my
utmost interest.

for all the material written or espoused about jesus, was he not, quite simply,
revealing our our potentials (4th d) and more importantly, the keys to them ?.
is the requirement for acension as simple as >50% sto ?. i appreciate
selflessness is a start but in these days of deception our selflessness is
often misguided. sto can be the aggrandizement of an adept sts. countless
corrupt charities are testimony to this.

i feel the path to ascension requires, along with >50% sto, an inner
recalibration of beliefs and ideals as are alluded to in the gospel of thomas.
this belief system being a prelude to higher consciousness..

korga, i know you are still with us. i would very much appreciate yours, or any
other view, on the keys and insights this gospel provides for ascension.

this is interesting, because lately i have been bombarded with them as
well - especially 144s, whether on a sign or a clock. it is truly beyond
coincidence... just wanted to confirm the 144 thing, as it has been of late
that they have started really wacking me in the head. :-)

this is a valid argument. i understand that there is much in the world
that seems to be serivce to other oriented and is actually self serving.
however, think about what sto really means... serving others means
coming from a place in yourself where you are completely open and sharing to
others, as if they were you, and you, them. appearances will not count for
actual service at ascension time (imho) and it is not the outward act of
service that makes one ascension - compatible, as you say, but rather an
inner system of beliefs that compels one to serve others.
what i'm trying to say is that imho, sto implies a belief system that
approaches what you are talking about.
know what i mean?

it's intresting that i return from a most amazing vacation, full much energizing
energy and enlightenment. it was
definitely a high i have yet to descend from. it's amazing the affects a mere
change of venue can present. but
it's important that we do so truly as a vacation and not merely trying to escape
life. this was the first time that i
took a break without running away and as i said, i'm on cloud 9 (or more
precisely cloud 7).

the true test of a vacation, however, is in the return. it's fitting that i

with respect to numerology, the patterns are everywhere there is existence, and
yet the patterns don't exist
unless we create them, and we create them as assistance to ourselves. tibetan
buddhists say of dreams, there is
no inherent meaning to them unless we put the meeting in there as we are the
creators of our dreams. they also
see 'reality' as a parallel to dreams. 1:44, 11:11 and such all occur twice
everyday. you've now set your mind
and body to recognize it. in the same way you can train your body to wake up
every morning at the same time.

okay, okay but then there's the got. man is it deep. have you ever read the
diamond sutra. it takes the whole
holy text premise to another level. there are claims that the mere recital of
the words is enough to change your
fortune. at any rate the point is that the whole thing is about understanding.
the texts are modes of facilitating
that understanding. the gospel of thomas is a rather special one. complex.
focus on number thirteen and
number one thirteen.

here's a shift for you - instead of thinking that you must choose to ascend what
if everyday you were just
choosing not to.

thank you jeremy and david, being conscious of the unity/oneness of all has to
be a prerequisite belief, i agree.
as jeremy said -

i guess there is sto and there is sto. the blind and the enlightened.

david, i read the ra study guide when it was first posted. i know it needs to
be read many more times,.. in fact 'studied'. i also have the books, 1-4. i
hear what you are saying.

korga, welcome back. the got - wow !, you're not kidding, 'complex' is about
right. i have reflected on 13 and 113 and to me
they reinforce the truth that we are 'the one creator' albeit in temporary human
form ( thanks david - i like that) and that earth is heaven if we would only
awaken and allow it to be ??.

any more clues are greatly appreciated..

can anyone enlighten me on the significance of 113?

it's just wierd that i found out today that i was born at 1:13 am... sounds
like a synchronicity, maybe?

yay, i got tloo book i for xmas and the rest of the series for my
birthday!!! it'll be great to study them without straining my eyes on the
computer!
