Poll: 2012 non-event or sudden, dramatic shift?

so i just want to know where everyone's head is at when it comes to this upcoming shift of the ages. do you think we will be zapped immediately to the next dimension or are you more in the gradual weeding out/non-event camp?

at first i was pretty sure december 2012 would just mark the beginning of the new age and nothing spectacular would really happen. but i am more and more beginning to believe that a rapid and dramatic shift is absolutely possible.

so are you a gradualist or a "spectacularist"??

i think it'll be somewhere in the middle. it will be gradual, yet extremely rapid...we won't suddenly end up in 5th dimensional reality, but we'll know that things are beginning to change. there might be a sudden energetic shift that awakened beings will all become aware of simultaneously. it'll be exciting as we look at eachother and say: "so it begins"! then the uphill climb of the rollercoaster will take place. right now we're sitting in the rollercoaster at the loading/unloading area wondering and waiting for the ride to begin. the engine is turned on but we're not yet moving. just a fun little analogy i just thought of! ;)
i hope that's how it happens. not too sudden to the point where we're jolted, but a very rapid acceleration of conscious transformation once we've reached a critical mass.

i already see much change in the world.
the breaking down of the old, to make way for the new.

people are no longer tolerating dishonesty, corruption, and
disharmony like the past.

i believe this sort of change will continue and accelerate
as 2012 draws closer. iirc, dw states that we may not
even be incarnate when the shift in consciousness occurs
due to earth changes.

time will tell....

its hard to say. i know there are already changes going on. i have heard both sides of the story, there will be a physical pole shift, and there wont be one. i honestly dont know. if a dream i had is any indication of what is going to happen, then a pole shift is going to happen, but as natural forest fires burn down trees to spring forth new life, i would see it as a new beginning ... although many, many people would see it as the end of the world (maybe for them anyway). but, i honestly dont know. whatever does happen, i feel it is for the best and the greater good.

ok say there is some amazing event and things look and feel different or perhaps we just suddenly have our magical powers unlocked somehow.

do you think you will pay your taxes or worry about material things anywhere as much? i barely care now and the universe is guiding me and thrilling me far more than i had ever dared hope and i'm just a lowly 3d life form.

so, if it's a huge event with vast changes there will be two immediate outcomes, one vast amounts of passive suicide (perhaps by starvation in a meditative state) by people who are freed from the bondage of poverty and desperation (which might very well be the armageddons, plagues and disasters foretold by so many seers and prophets, only instead of it being a tragedy it is merely a transition) or two, people become like the null-a's in van vogt's books.

for those of you who are un-familiar of a.e.van vogt's null-a books, they were the first hugo award (sci-fi) winning novels after wwii and helped propel the study of general semantics, something that i have yet to have heard mention from our man david wilcock, but something he (and many many really good speakers) undoubtedly is aware of and uses

the null-a's manage to fight off an infinitely superior alien invasion by not thinking as individuals but as a group, and using conscious control over their biology (such as turning on adrenaline at will) allowing them to push their bodies and minds to the limit.

it's far fetched but not outside the realms of possibility and that's my point, we already have the potential to do amazing things, perhaps the big event simply unlocks our inherent abilities and we spend the next d cycle colonizing space *crosses fingers*

we can speculate endlessly on this, but it is not part of the deal to really know what is to come. it would be like seeing a movie after someone has given away the ending.

the fact that there is a fraction of us humans aware enough to be reading posts like this and informing ourselves of the thinking and perspectives that go along with david's material and all of the stuff he has gathered from other sourses indicates to me that we few should be prepared in some way.

my own thinking has shifted away from the doom-gloom material that pervades many new-agey channels and towards what feeds my sense of truth. i realized that those negative prophecies only fed my fears and that part of me that is fascinated by things like war and fighting.

honestly, i don't have much idea of the mechanism that this shift will entail. my heart tells me that there will be change, and it will be dramatic and sudden. i look around at the negative things in the world like wars and secret power groups and all of their games of suppressing the people and they look like a sweater that has had a thread pulled and is now unravelling. even in my own life i am experiencing things that no longer serve me unravel as well, often painfully.

i lean to the side of something dramatic, something sudden. will we need to be assisted by the ets that are standing by waitng, i think so. but who knows.

i think it is best that we live in the now...

there are so many things right now, that we should be looking at as a people.

that being said, i can definitely agree with what many of you are saying and experiencing. we need to continue our self discovery and at the same time be sensitive to those around us.

my biggest problem has been trying to reach out to others in my local area. the push back is incredible...i finally understand that passage in the bible about a rich man entering heaven...

plus, when you consider the material david has written on the law of one...which i myself am still trying to internalize...plus with the fact that observation has an affect on the outcome, you can run into some possible traps i feel.

so this kind of poll in my opinion is a little...i don't want to say risky...but can lead some people down the wrong path if they don't have a very solid foundation.

now don't get me wrong, i'm all for the fantastic and what not...experiencing first hand some of these abilities is quite amazing...but these are not toys to play with at this time...we need to be focused on the task at hand. know yourself, love others, makes steps towards peace in your life (starts with those around you), and accept people as they are...and see them a special and unique just like you. sure we don't like all the same things but that doesn't mean there has to be walls of separation, etc.
