Calling the Confederation

Many references are made in the Law of One material to a "calling" to the Confederation for help or assistance.

Assuming that most of those who make the "call" are not aware of the existence of the Confederation, what then are the criteria for making a "call"?

I further assume that the "call" need not involve the spoken word.

Any thoughts on this and/or references to an answer within the material itself?

It seems like I do remember something about this in the Ra material, but I looked and couldn't find it. Something about dissonance between inner and outer realities creating a calling, but maybe I'm just making that up. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to be conscious, and that it usually isn't.

I wonder if there is a play on words, as if one calls another on the telephone then so may one have an "instrument" to make a call. This might relate to the quest of spiritual development, that possibly a person evolves themselves into an instrument by such a quest.

I think Carla mentioned somewhere sometime her practice of challenging the help she was given. This could relate to the nature of prayer constructs having a structure that narrows the field of those bidding on the calls.

When deep sorrows and longing for home echos ethereally, when our brothers and sisters desire the evolution of Spirit, when we express Love for one another unconditionally without expectations or fullfillment or even recognition, when we do these things purely out of faith, intuition, christ consciousness, whatever you wish to call it, we are in a sence opening the invitation to the Confederation to help guide, steer, purify, ect.... our intentions by way of our own free will. This calling is an expression of readyness to serve as an accomplished 3rd density being who has learned to recognise unconditional love and has made the decision to persue this "Love" fully. When an entity reaches this state, it often (briefly) finds itself feeling alone but with a knowing that higher beings are ultimately there, they are part of us and we somehow know they can help, want to help, but must do so through the conscious awareness of our Earthly selves filtered through our reasoning and free will. We wish for the whole of humanity to have a taste of this readyness, to glance at the possibility of a 4th density Love permeating the planet as a whole connecting us to the cosmos and widening our Galactic perspective. This "desire" is ultimately "the calling" IMHO....................Sylvain................... ....

First, we learn that those who call may not understand that the Law of One is the answer, but that the length of calling has nothing to do with understanding either. To me this implies a conscious calling, or desire for understanding at a deeper level without necessarily including the willingness to hear or accept the answers.


Questioner: You stated that you were called by 352,000 Earth entities. Does this mean that it is this number that will understand and accept the Law of One?

Ra: I am Ra. We cannot estimate the correctness of your statement for those who call are not in every case able to understand the answer to their calling. Moreover, those who were not calling previously may, with great trauma, discover the answers to the call nearly simultaneously with their late call. There is no time/space in call. Therefore, we cannot estimate the number of your mind/body/spirit complexes which will, in your space/time continuum/distortion, hear and understand.

[Note: We also learned at this point that over 632,000,000 entities were calling on Confederation resources in early 1981. This implies to me a great spectrum in the types of information called for, as this represents approximamtely 1/8 of the planetary population at that time. If this percentage were requesting information specific to the Law of One in 1981, then it seems likely that we could have achieved a societal memory complex for STO by now. More likely that most of the calls were due to a "feeling" that there was more to know, and hence, a desire to know it.]


Many calls, it seems are for help with specific issues to aid evolution.


Questioner: When did the first call occur, and how did it occur?

Ra: I am Ra. The first calling was approximately 46,000 of your years ago. This calling was of those of Maldek. These entities were aware of their need for rectifying the consequences of their action and were in some confusion in an incarnate state as to the circumstances of their incarnation; the unconscious being aware, the conscious being quite confused. This created a calling. The Confederation sent love and light to these entities..


Questioner: Who or what group produced this call, and what action was taken by the Confederation?

Ra: I am Ra. The calling was that of Atlanteans. This calling was for what you would call understanding with the distortion towards helping otherselves. The action taken is that which you take part in at this time: the impression of information through channels, as you would call them.

Many calls are responded to with thoughts, and the majority of calls are for very basic information: "Meditate", for which they have created automated equipment... Perhaps the first automated call distribution (ACD) system used on Earth: "Welcome to the Law of One automated call distribution system. If you need help with Service to Others, please Mediate on the Golden Rule now. If you need help with Health matters, please meditate on Bodily Catalysts now..."

We were responding to a general calling of sufficient energy in that particular location to merit action. We sent thoughts to all who were seeking our information.

Questioner: I understand then that the Confederation entity needs communication equipment and craft to communicate with the thirddensity incarnate entity requesting the information?

Ra: I am Ra. This is incorrect. However, many of your peoples request the same basic information in enormous repetition, and for a social memory complex to speak ad infinitum about the need to meditate is a waste of the considerable abilities of such social memory complexes. Thus some entities have had approved by the Council of Saturn the placement and maintenance of these message givers for those whose needs are simple, thus reserving the abilities of the Confederation members for those already meditating and absorbing information which are then ready for additional information.

Summary: It seems to me then that there is one criterium for a call... that being a need and seeking which can be addressed by Confederation members. Their response to the call is in line with the need, and the strength of the call (i.e., the number of entities with the need), and is answered by those best able to respond, assuming that the call is great enough to overcome the entropy of those not calling.

Thanks all. . some very insightful and helpful information!

I've been experimenting with this the past few nights. Have had some interesting dreams. Haven't written any of it down though. I find myself wanting to stay in the dream state as long as I can, with the result of having little time once I awake for reflection.

I have also noticed that I have been more tired throughout the days, and with an increased sense of apathy toward material life. I was hoping for something more uplifting and inspiring. Perhaps I should be more specific in my calling.

I've found the sense of "longing for home" to be useful, though I have noted resistance to allowing myself to fully enter into the feeling as it can be quite overwhelming. . .
