{{{Hi folks}}}
I had some insightful thoughts today as I was driving into work after I
sent that e-mail to Jeremy this morning. These thoughts... well they
weren't anything new, per say. And I really do mean they're nothing
new... but I'm inclined to share the lesson again because I really do
believe it is one we're all here to focus on the most. It came to me
when I was pondering one of the comments I made this morning to Jeremy
with regards to my perceiving the Creator to be my dearest friend and
confidant and it got me thinking I needed to expand on the point.
One of the simplest things we are being channeled and have been told
over and over and OVER again throughout all the many millennia since we
were first planted here, is to let NOTHING stand between yourself and
the Creator. I believe that's even one of the commandments in the bible.
"Worship no false images before me" or some such wording like that.
As I sat in the car thinking about this, my mind wandered back over all
the many periods in our civilization and it struck me again that failure
to fulfill this one simple thing is what has gotten the human race into
trouble time and again and is what causes us to perceive duality and
separation in such caustic terms as we do here in this plane of
existence.
It got me thinking some more about the other things I said to Jeremy as
well about everything being a gift. I knew what I had said was
important... but it really struck me then just HOW important. (As
instruments of the Creator, He/She ALWAYS has things to teach us
ourselves in the very things we say to other people.)
These gifts... well they are gifts. Just gifts, although they encompass
everything from the water we drink to the people who help channel love
and light into our lives. But they are but a mere reflection of that
LOVE... a mere reflection of the Creator. When we worship them instead
of the Creator, we lose ourselves and put ourselves in a position of
being controlled by the will of others instead of the Creator. I think
that would explain, for example, what happened when Jesus came here to
teach. Instead of being perceived as the son of God, in other words a
reflection of God (which in fact he certainly was and so tried to
explain) people, in their unenlightened state began to worship him as
God Himself.
I apologize to all the Christians out there if this sounds like
blasphemy and I certainly don't mean to sound like I am undermining the
teachings of Jesus. I can assure you I am certainly not. I
wholeheartedly believe in all the wonderful things this master came here
to share with us, bearing in mind that his teachings somewhat reflect
the state of that time period. But the main point I'm trying to make is
the consequences of what happens when we put things between ourselves
and the Creator.
So, with that said... I'm compelled to offer a piece of advice to any
and all who care to listen, and that is to seriously meditate on these
points so that you can well and truly let nothing stand in the way of
the Creator... and therefore let nothing stand in the way of love for
you are every bit worthy in the eyes of the Creator otherwise you would
not be here.
