I think we have a tendency at times to over-complicate things. We keep
thinking there must be some secret or illusive answer to our questions
and problems, when in fact, the answers are right in front of us most of
the time. We simply do not see them because we are either not ready to
see them, or we insist that they be more complicated than they are because
we falsely believe that is what is necessary to fulfill us. You can be
sure that if it is a more complicated answer you seek, then it is a more
complicated answer you will generate for yourself.
Take the issue of harvest for an example. Jason pointed out that it
seems to have taken forever and questioned why they haven't seemed to "get
it right" yet. Let's use another analogy to analyze this. Let's say you're
a gardener and you're working your garden to get just the right kind of
harvest. You've created a new "crop" and you're working out the "bugs".
How long do you think it would take to get the perfect harvest? It is doubtful
that it would happen the first time around. It takes a lot of hard work.
The next time around, if you get even a handful of "the right stuff" then
you're doing good. You keep working, and with the next harvest you increase
your harvest by tenfold! That's great! You keep going and going and
eventually almost all your crops are made of the "right stuff."
Now... let's determine what exactly the gardener is looking for in the
perfect "plant". He or She wants something strong, hardy, flexible and
adaptable to almost any environment. Something that will grow in harmony
with its plant-neighbours so that it doesn't require oodles of space and
therefor over-tax the earth. Something that gives back to the soil (soul)
as much as it takes out of it. Think about that really carefully too for
in order to continue the cycle the "ground" must maintain its fertility.
Become the gardener and think about what is required to achieve the
perfect yield and you will have all the answers you seek.
