group question: our question today has to do with catalyst and how we process our catalyst. we are wondering how we could really test our feelings or know our feelings or know when we have worked successfully, and when we have perhaps worked with it on a surface level and then maybe buried some of it that really needs some more attention, and thinking that we’ve gotten it and then we go on and at some point it seems to come around again and we need to work on it again. so, q’uo, please give us some direction as to how we can take a look at what’s happening in our lives with our catalyst, so we know when we are working with it successfully and when there’s really more work to be done because we’ve either ignored it or buried it in some fashion.

jim: “evolving to the fourth density seems a distant goal. is there a simple way to measure how close we are to the threshold of the fourth density?”

we are those of q’uo, and are aware of your query, my brother. from the preceding answer, you may perhaps guess that we shall inform you that there is a very easy way to judge as to how close you are to fourth density. you are in fourth density, my friends. you are in third-density bodies and so are not able to see the incredibly beautiful infant fourth-density earth that interpenetrates third density at this time.

however, far below the level of conscious awareness, you are more and more aware of your power, your truth, and your beauty. the thinning of the veil has been occurring for some time, as these energies interpenetrate more and more. at this time there is virtually nothing of third-density energy left. there is just enough energy left for a few more of your years in which entities can make the choices that will place them in a position to be able to graduate from third density to the density of love that is your fourth density.

group question: the bhagavad gita and many other positive spiritual teachings speak of self-control as a beneficial and necessary element of the positive seeker’s path—self-control in the face of temptation and in directing the will for the purpose of spiritual pursuits versus worldly pursuits. yet ra offers an alternative understanding in negating control in favor of acceptance and overall balance. is there a positive use of control? does control play any useful role in the discipline of the personality? can one control, for example, through acceptance, meaning that that which has become accepted is able to be controlled or directed?

group question: the question this week has to do with the various religions that we have on planet earth. they all seem to have a center of truth, but each religion also seems to have a number of adherents who interpret it their own way and who become fanatic in one way or another, trying make the religion into a dogma, to say this is the way and the only way. is this a human trait? and how can we really know what is the true path for each of us? it seems like each of us has that spark of the creator in us that recognizes truth and we are more reminded of truth than informed of truth. can q’uo give us some general principles as to how look at the various religions and how to find what is “the way” for us?

i especially liked this passage...frankly because it contains a gap or pause which seems to emphasize the profundity of it:




...you have primary access to the direct experience of the creator.

and indeed, it was for that purpose that you came into this illusion....

along the thought stream of consumerism - and this has taken some time to better understand - is the idea of green ray blockages.

its in loo book 2 session 32: "...fear of possession, desire for possession, fear of being possessed, desire to be possessed: these are the distortions which will cause the deactivation of green ray energy transfer..."

to bring this back to the idea of consumerism seems an attitude of materialism such as "if only i had this or that, then i could love and/or be loved..." or alternately, the idea that love is an object that can be bought as can almost anything these day(instead of love as an freely shared activity).

the ra passage may likewise suggest such consumeristic and/or materialistic approaches (as related to fears and desires related to possesions) effectively limits one's progress because time spent upon issues which cause blockage is not necessarily time well spent upon issues related to loving...

this may partially explain the disempowering influence that q'uo suggests.

this seems an amazing passage to me:


...the energy, the information, and the inspiration that you need is close to you. if it is not we who offer it to you, please be assured another source will come to you, for that which you desire always comes to you, one way or another. if you will use this discrimination and listening to what we have to say, it will enable us to speak freely to you without being concerned about the issue of free will. we thank you for this consideration.

you ask this day about teaching and learning, how one teaches and how one learns. that is a question of enormous subtlety....


almost every q'uo reading contains such "free will disclaimers" each with a spin of variety in them. reflecting on this here seems ideas of both teaching by example, and of teaching what one desires to learn.

it may be likely that one of the lessons that q'uo struggles with relates to issues of free will - as if the first distortion is close to the last which is grappled with.

take by metaphor a pet which one acts as guide to and guardian of - there can be a desire to look out for this pet for its best interests because the love for the pet is so immense, or is that some infringement of some sort?

what if the pet is so stupid that it doesn't know what's good for it? here it seems there can be a disparity of "knowing" which is so easy for the guardian, and yet so difficult for the guarded.

so the challenge of the guardian seems to detach in some way alowing the guarded to experience (itself) in ways it desires, bearing the hardship of observing misdirection by the beloved...can you appreciate that tension?

it may be that suggestions of this in a repetitive sense ease the learning of this important lesson, which may be slower and more difficult to learn later in the higher densities.

we wish, however, to caution each against looking upon us or any material whatsoever as an infallible authority. we share our opinions. we are not infallible. thusly, if we speak truth that is the truth of your heart, you shall recognize it. if you do not recognize it as if, though hearing it for the first time, it were a memory, then it is not a personal truth and could well be a stumbling block. we would ask you not to keep those things which do not feel resonant with your own path of seeking but we hope that we are able to share with you some things which may help as you move along the dusty road of pilgrimage.

group question: (read by jim) our question tonight, q’uo, has to do with how we, as seekers, can deal with adversity. our third-density illusion has the purpose, it seems, of providing us catalyst and by using this catalyst we hopefully can grow into greater understanding of our place in the universe and of how to be of service. sometimes, though, the catalyst is either too much, or we feel like we’re getting burned out, or it’s boringly repetitive and we’re getting tired of doing the work, or for some reason, we just feel discouraged and could use some words of inspiration, something perhaps other than, “well, remember that you’re all one,” or “persevere, persevere.”

also, try to bring sacredness to the mundane.

group question: q’uo, we have two questions. firstly, thinking about how close 2012 is, and how most of the people in this group are just now learning channeling, we’re wondering what we can expect to be our service in these last few years if we’re learning channeling and wish to be of service to others via that channeling art.

we are those known to you as the principle of q’uo. greetings, my friends, in the love and light of the one infinite creator, in whose service we come to you this day. it is such a pleasure to be called to your circle of seeking. we thank you for this privilege and pleasure and assure you that your combined auras as you create this sacred space for this session of working are simply beautiful. we are most happy to speak with you this day upon the question of what place channeling has at the end of this third density and the beginning of fourth.

as always, we would ask that you monitor your own reactions to our thoughts and take only those thoughts from what we say that resonate to you, so that it is almost as if we had said something that you already knew but had perhaps forgotten momentarily. that is the kind of resonance that makes for very fruitful work. it is an empty exercise to attempt to learn those things which do not resonate to you. we would much rather that you leave those thoughts behind. for we do not expect to hit the mark with every person, all the time. we only give thanks that we have the opportunity to attempt to share thoughts that we hope will be helpful to you as well to us.

you ask about the channeling that you have been working on this weekend. you ask precisely what use is it, given that there is little time until 2012. and we would answer that in two ways, my friends.

group question: the question tonight is: this planet abounds in a multitude of models, paths and understandings related to the creator, creation, and the spiritual quest, each susceptible to a wide range of interpretations and most mixed in polarity. there is a vast array of systems of spiritual information that are external to the self, such as the law of one, christianity, buddhism, hinduism and new age thought, to name a few, that are printed or communicated in some fashion to the self. in general, what is the ideal relationship between the seeker of truth and information regarding truth which comes from outside the self? how does a seeker situate this information within the self so that it is transparent to the one true authority within and does not become a stumbling block?

i especially liked the ending to the first query:


the seeker’s journey is a sacred one, a beautiful one, and often a difficult one. there are many seasons of light and shadow, growth and awaiting, and all are equally profitable. trust yourself, trust your sense of resonance and then enjoy your seeking, your questions, your answers, and all that goes into a life lived by spiritual means and interests.

in my own experience i have found this to be true; growth has not been constant, nor continuous... kind of like a roller-coaster ride - slow and fast, up and down, start and stop (if you've ever been lucky enough to stay on one for three rides or so before getting off)... a nice reminder for us to remain steadfast, patience, and most importantly, appreciative of every experience, each and every day. :d

i also liked the answer to the second query regarding chakras, again, a nice reminder about respecting the "lower chakras" while developing the "higher"...


oftentimes, entities who are thirsty and hungry for spiritual meat simply keep attempting to move higher and higher and higher within the energy body, upwards into the realms of higher communication, high wisdom, high faith, and so forth, without giving an equal amount of attention to that energy which is coming through the energy body from the south pole, from the earth itself.

the group known as ra was suggesting that as one seeks to open the higher charkas it is equally necessary to continue to give full honor, respect and attention to the health and the vibrancy of the lower charkas as well and to appreciate and honor that energy which has come from the one infinite creator, to the sun, into the womb of the earth, and then from the earth up through the feet and the base of the charka system at the base of the spine in infinite supply. there needs to be a continuing and equal appreciation of this energy and of all that it suggests of mortality and limitation, for indeed mortality is a limitation and the presence of a seeker upon the earth plane partakes of this mortality and this limitation.

group question: our question tonight, q’uo, is: one gets the impression when reading the mystical texts within the distortions of christianity, zen buddhism, sufism, the yoga of hinduism and other, non-codified systems of thought, that the path to enlightenment demands of the seeker a great quantity and quality of time and energy and focus.

what would you say to the seeker of enlightenment whose obligations of service to family, work and society seem to preclude the possibility of devoting the requisite time and energy? additionally, can sufficient will and faith overcome these daily limits upon available time and energy?

question from g: in the meditative state, if an entity concentrated upon sending instructions for desired programming to the subconscious or deeper self, would the deeper self respond in accordance to those instructions? for instance, would the self’s perception of self begin to be transformed if an entity, through concentration in a meditative state, told the self over and over, “i desire to see through the eyes of love”? what kind of power to effect changes do repeated affirmations have? how can one increase the effectiveness of the mantra?

group question: the question this week q’uo is: what is your opinion of the use which ritual magic makes of repeated ritualized behavior to seek and serve the creator? it seems to utilize the doubling effect in that each repetition of the ritual seems to increase the seeker’s desire and purity to seek and serve the creator. would q’uo please describe how we, as seekers of truth, can bring this kind of magic into our daily lives?

when i read this channeling of qu'o one big question rises in my already heavyloaded mind: "have i totally misunderstood the message from david wilcock when he says ther is going to be a masslanding in 2012 of "ufo" preceding the "harvest"???

this is by the way the thing i have the hardest time to digest; sounds like a variation of what different sects use to say.

anyway, int his passage somewhere in the middle of the text carla channels this:

"we deeply understand the desire of those of the nine (yaweh in the bible) to make a difference on planet earth. we underststand, because we have experimented with coming among your pple, the desire to make a mass landing and to herald a new day calling for love and light, with the strenght of a massive display of superior insight, intelligence and knowledge.

we do not agree that it's a gambit that we will be effectivee in any way in lightening the consciousness of planet earth and we have many thousnad years of your age put away any thought of doing so.

the promised landings, as the known as jim said earlier, shall not occur.

yet there is that energy within the psyches of subconscious levels of mind of many upon planet earth which desire this outcome. and so thes of those upon planet earth mingle with the desires of those of the nine to create a self-fulfilling link in which the info continues to be offered because it is desired.

can anyone shed some light (and love) on this??

this is a huge and ongoing issue that both david and wilcock have respectively and repeatedly addressed in various contexts.

both carla and david are, in my mind, top-notch channelers -- especially in their vigilance to remain transparent and consciously uncertain of the final veracity of their own channeled material.

still, in transcripts such as the one you are referring to in which carla has offered information that would negatively qualify the notion of a direct ufo disclosure on earth by (otherwise) positive sto et beings, i find myself needing to hold everything in uncertainty and start from zero, so to speak, in approaching the future.

to the extent that carla's channeled material above reflects reality, and to the degree that quo are really quo and not just carla's own fantasy of the same -- which is entirely possible, regardless of how her own channeling attempts to self-correct in mid-stream by qualifying itself in the way that it (and she) repeatedly, emphatically does -- the play of higher density beings in our realm is clearly a difficult, paradoxical matter, full of confusion in itself, and inherently so, since the modus operandi of beings like quo is, as they say, to not interfere with human free-will, which is itself literally a function, according to the law of one, of being confused!

it's quo's and ra's job, in other words, to tread that fine razor's edge between offering sources of inspiration to those who are receptive to them, while not going so far as to interfere with our own human struggle with that most sacred catalyst towards our remembering who we are -- our primary, in-built, hard-wired confusion -- about who we are, and how events will unfold in the run-up to 2012 and beyond.

what a messy situation this makes for channelers...and their readers!

i had a dream recently in this vein, where i found myself flying among the stars in a light body, like a fish in water, just cruising the galaxy in a state of being quite at home in the vast space of stars. airborn in space thusly, i reflected on my experience on earth in a solid, mortal body, and realized very clearly that as soon as any of us are born, the force of forgetting who we are amounts to that of a lifelong concussion. from this perspective in my dream, i could only appreciate just how difficult an ordeal it is to navigate time and space in such a hotbed of innate, massive, and mas confusion as this poor place truly is.

all by way of saying that, for me, david and carla are each very dear to me -- the closest of friends in a way, for the services they so vigilantly and freely provide. but at the end of the day, it's not up to them how i relate to the future: it's up to me, always. and no matter how many dreams i may have of flying around the stars, when i wake up in the morning, even that vision remains just that -- a vision -- and i'm right back inside this 3-d world with the rough job of being true to my own confusion, and the cognitive uncertainty that goes along with it -- particularly in relation to how 2012 will manifest, including whether or not we will see a benign disclosure of et's and ufo's, etc.

the best thought i can come up with at this point in conclusion is, to echo david's recent poetic riffing on his blog, that god loves surprises, which means that -- no matter how much i meditate and awaken to my own original nature -- when it comes to how our collective future will unfold, it is intrinsically a matter of time playing out and god being surprised -- in each of our forms -- for which the best i can otherwise hope to do is to hold myself well in cognitive uncertainty and otherwise be content to wait and see: cuz i don't know -- and can't know -- what will be before it arrives. and perhaps no one can, in the end. not david, not carla. at best, we are making guesses in the dark -- inspired as we may be by our best intuitions. still, it's all guesswork until the future we are waiting so passionately for finally gets here.

just as a note here, carla has always been heavily biased, in the conscious mind, against anything noteworthy happening around 2012. this was the product of a lively debate going all the way back to our first shared appearance together in louisville in 2002.

i have only the greatest respect for carla, lived with her or near her for three years and supported her financially for two out of those three, as well as having a major impact on building four rooms in her basement and a shed on her land.

on this particular issue i believe strong conscious biases, and a lack of familiarity with the intricate interweavings of various passages in the law of one series, has caused the discrepancy. channeling is always a blending between conscious and superconscious minds, and even her unconscious work in the law of one series had a few minor inconsistencies -- such as the dating of the great pyramid's construction and the home density of jesus.

what i have done previously is to make a comprehensive, airtight and irrefutable case that 2012 is a "quantum leap" representing a "shift in the basic nature of the photon" making up all physical matter, right from passages in the law of one series.

in order to support the 'gradualist' model you have to ignore 95% of the relevant quotes to focus exclusively on one that appears to suggest a 100-700 year transition period. as i've said before, dr. mandelker and i figured out this refers to a transition from time-space rather than space-time. it is not specified one way or the other in the law of one, and by making it time-space it immediately balances with all other quotes.

looking at the actual quotes collapses the argument, at which time this becomes simply an embarrassing difference of opinion.

can i ask just one teeny, tiny question?

so the evidence overwhelmingly supports a more sudden transformation as opposed to a gradual change. so what exactly does that entail? what will we experience with our senses when the clock strikes 2012 and the blast of energy hits? i like to think that the veil will all of a sudden be lifted and we will be able to see the angels and souls that have been all around us for all of this time. i suppose it is impossible to know for sure but it would be great to have some possibilities to think about.

and one other thing, from my limited alien research i have read in several separate places that the alien's have the attitude that they will not interfere with our destiny. we have to save ourselves for better or worse. they might come down and help a little bit if things get really bad, and they will not let us completely destroy our earth. but they will not save us for us.

so i tend to believe that there will not be a mass landing unless the majority consensus of the planet is ready and willing for the mass encounter. and with all of the hollywood movies presenting aliens in a malevolent light it is not likely people are going to be welcoming of powerful beings coming to visit.

and, now that i think about it, that is pretty much what the loo says, right?

i am contemplating my response, however ther are things that did not resonate with me completly with the reading. ie.: no assistance from others, the pleadines were somewhat negative (just as the group from the confederation in terms of interfering with free will), next was the vibratory sense that carla, ( although i read and support her) resonates with a feeling of only through christ, that is not to say that christ consciosness is not correct: but that it seemed her bias was to that one adherent energy. there are many that lead to the same path. i am feeling that david is saying that there are biasness's that are created through channeling, based on one's belief. this is why greg's (ggtownsen's) thread is so so important, find your own higher self. david is simply trying to send a message to awaken others, don't get confused so much as to be a "follower" find your own path. he is not trying to be right or wrong, he said in enigma 2012 " it is what you make it". thus, you are the light, you are the one infinite creator. that is part of being an adult in the universe.

so essentially, the 4d energy octave has been slowly increasing since something round 1936. it's been a gradual transition so we can dip our feet in the water with our 3d bodies before we submerge in our 4d bodies. quo made the analogy of how we go from one year to another in school, of how as we enter the next year of learning we still only know what we knew the previous year and as wilcock and the law of one has been saying, we have to die in this body to reborn in the new upgrade. so now the time is upon us to really make the most of these last few years of intense changes to catapult us into the new world. we are succeeding by just merely being here and experiencing the act of co creating.
