i want to thank david and the list for bringing this issue to unity with
me. i am comfortable with the statements david made regarding drunvalo and
his teachings. yes, dru does admit there may be errors in his work and he
always tells people to rely on inner guidance...as we all should.
i totally agree with the list about not including dru's work with
david's. they are two separate researchers. if you want fol, then there
are facilitators who can help...if you want ascension 2000 and david's
work...there is david. the two should not be combined, in my opinion,
because they are so different. however, there will be followers of fol and
dru participating in this list and researching the ascension2000 web site,
because the work is similar in some respects and because i have referred a
bunch of my fol buddies about the site. i don't want the same material
from ascension 2000 and david as fol teaches, if i did, i'm in the wrong
place. i love the differences in all the ascension work i study, cuz it
really makes me rely on that inner guidance.
email is difficult to convey opinions because it is a one-sided
conversation. i feel that if we were sitting around the kitchen table
drinking coffee or tea, talking about the differences and similarities to
various ascension research work, this never would have gotten out of hand,
nor have taken this long to resolve. ah, the disadvantages of the tech age.
again, thank you david for your beautiful unifying email. thank you clark,
jeremy, christian, enoch, john, larry and the rest for your input and
opinions. i appreciate your compassion and love and the opportunity to
learn from this experience. yes, spiritual growth is the hardest thing one
can do, but soooooooooooooooo worth it!
oh, and i just have to tell my side of the water story.... = )
i worked for a fol facilitator for two years doing promotion work. during
that time, actually shortly before an earth-sky workshop with dru, the
turkey/sufi/living/water of life appeared. dru seemed excited about it and
many fol followers where excited about it too. one needs to know that this
is only dru's second lifetime on earth, so he is like a little kid and very
naive about humanity. he was excited about the water and gave out
information before his research process was complete. (kinda like "i've got
a secret, but i just have to tell someone cuz it's sooo exciting!")
my fac. was eager to get some and try it. she hooked up with another fac
who was selling the water to provide us with some water to sell at the
earth//sky. i contacted dru's office to clear this with them before we
bought the water. dru's secretary got back with me the next day and said
that dru didn't want the water there at all..no water, no
literature..nothing. this surprised us, since we thought he was an avid
proponent of it.
we get the workshop....pick up dru from the airport. we all go out to
dinner and then dru came back to our room after dinner and told us about
the assassination attempt. seems after more research, that the water was
not being "made" the way it was originally conveyed to dru, and that it had
very addictive qualities. dru never told anyone to use it
personally....said that it was still being researched...but some people did
drink it and wash with it. dru ended up telling the workshop attendees not
to drink the water or use it personally.....and pretty much left it at
that...with a bunch of mouths hanging open and puzzled looks. (he did not
tell the group about the assassination attempt).
my inner guidance steered me away from the water right from the start. i
used to answer many phone calls about fol work and when asked about the
water, i referred people on to another facilitator and told them to use
inner guidance on this issue. i could not be in unity with the water
thing...so i withdrew. and that is my current stand. since fol is not
directly involved with the work of dru, they refused to post anything about
it on their site. it's dru's project and does not reflect the mission of
fol.. they could not be in unity with it, so they also withdrew. wise
choice on behalf of fol in my opinion. dru gets involved in lots of
projects which sometimes bite him in the ass later, as i'm sure some of you
have seen.
