hey donna,

not sure i can help you much on this one. dealing
with people who are control freaks is part of my
baggage, too, and trying to integrate that personality
trait has been one of my big tasks in this
incarnation.

all i can say is to be honest with yourself and your
feelings. the answer to our mystery lies within us;
it is not "out there."

dealing with people who want to control me and by whom
i feel manipulated has always been a big issue with
me. since i was very young i always bucked what i
felt was arbitrary authority. i think it was a fear
of loss of identity, in a certain sense: that if i
wasn't controlling my actions, i would cease to be.
in one sense i believe it is completely valid and
understandable to go about your life assuming that you
are a free individual who is able to do what he
pleases. in another sense, i believe there is much to
be learned about the identity of the self by
juxtaposing it's innate freedom against the
constraints and manipulations inherent in 3d life.
this is what i have been unable to reconcile.
however, i have a long time still to think about
things before my chips get cashed in.

:-)

hi donna and jeremy,

sometimes yes, i speak to intra-social situations and
especially around personal freedom. what jeremy said
about "it is not out there" is very right on.

jeremy

a definition of evil is; the direct circumvention of
another's just and correct right to choose.

"they that troubles their own house shall inherit the
wind."

we are creatures being guided through our days by
comfort and happiness. but, ahhh the price is always
freedom. how to have both?

decide on freedom first and happiness always! follows.
always be loving and calmly proactive about your freedom.

below is a motto! when you posted it big in your mind
it helps your proactive resolve. when you post it big in
the awareness area of control freaks, it has a very
subtle effect on their consciousness.

happiness is the greatest good!
the time to be happy is now!
the place to be happy is here!
the way to be happy is to help others be so!

but

when push comes to shove,
it is much better to be free than t be happy!

pure freedom is inside of you. but, literal freedom, the
freedom that teaches us about controlling others or being
controlled might be, out there.

just know that doing life is doing karma.

true dat. the experience is catalyst, and i'm aware
of its transitory nature. it's a means to an end.

nevertheless, you can't fake enlightenment. i was
talking with a friend about this the other day, how we
get an understanding of higher density consciousness
and ways of life through readings, meditation, and
what not. and it's very helpful to learn about
different ways of living, different teachings, and of
course always striving for development. but where we
are at *now* is just as important as where we are
going. the entire "road map" to return to unity (or
at least to 4d), i believe, is buried at some level in
everyday, waking consciousness. that's why being
where and who you are is just as important as, if not
more important than, where you are going.

> just know that doing life is doing karma.

i'm cool with that. it definately takes the pressure
off my career. <lol>

thanks rod.
