Hey all,

Just a bit ago today, on my drive into my afternoon shift at the college, I was thinking about our Friday meditations and was wondering if they were too broad, etc.

So, I've been mulling some ideas I wanted to share with you all...

To begin with, to effectively reach the meditative state requires focus, correct? So, I was wondering, what if we specifically chose a focus "group" for each day of the week? In other words, instead of a weekly meditation, transform this into a daily meditation?

I know, I know, sounds like alot, but I'd bet most of us meditate daily anyway, right? So, in effect, all we'd be doing is adding on to our daily meditations and sending out calls as a group...just more focused and more often...

I still don't have anything really good to work with at the moment, but here is what I've come up with so far - the idea follows a 7 day rotation - days are just a suggestion - everything is subject to your input.

Sunday - Focus solely on yourself, no one, no thing else. "Charge" yourself for the coming week, you've got alot of love to spread around! ;)

Monday - Harmonize with the energies of Gaia - bring Light and Love to our Planet - visualize starting at the core going outward into the atmosphere. Analgous to 1st/2nd Densities or 1st Chakra

Tuesday - Bring Light and Love to our Family, Friends, and co-meditators here on the DC Forum (I'd say all Lightworkers, but the focus here is on personal relationships...) Analgous to 2nd Chakra

Wednesday - Broadcast Light and Love to areas of conflict in your personal life, and in those around you. Here's where things start falling apart :o Trying to get something analgous to 3rd Chakra

Thursday - Focus on the purity of Unconditional Love and allow it to fill, then flow through you. I would use jonas's visualization in the Ready to Call? thread...

Friday - Focus on acheiving Oneness and bringing these truths we share to the whole planet...

Saturday - ???

Ok, there's ALOT of refining to do here, and honestly, I don't know if I'm ready for something like this yet, but just an idea I wanted to share with you. Maybe something we can discuss and work on together during the coming weeks...

I look forward to your replies and input. I think what we're doing on Fridays is great, but also think that maybe we could start some more focused meditations as well. Not to say we gotta go from 1 day to 7 right off the bat; take small steps...

P.S. - about half way through "the week" I got the chakra idea and totally changed things around. Sorry if this post seems disjointed, etc. - very much a work in progress.

i like the idea, but...

i would like to try something more focused, meaning, some kind of telepatic exercise, for example, making groups of senders and receivers of images, symbols, etc.

What do you think?

Hi Art! What an excellent idea! Such a great idea in fact that you weren't the first to think of it. :) Jim and Carla have been doing this twice daily Gaia meditation (http://llresearch.org/gaia.htm) and Carla has come up with a different meditation for each day, for a total of 7 different meditations.

I'm supposed to be getting them ready to be posted at their store, but with getting my taxes done and trying to start a garden, I've been slacking. :( The first one (Day One) is already posted at their store, https://store.bring4th.org/ and I hope to get the rest of them ready within a few weeks. They will be available free of charge. Here is what the tentative subjects will be from Day 2-7.

Day 2 - Loving Mother Earth
Day 3 - What is Peace
Day 4 - Stewardship - Why We're Here
Day 5 - Clearing the Chakras
Day 6 - I; In My House
Day 7 - Sending Light

I think both ideas are excellent, and both deserve closer consideration.

I have had very encouraging results in the past with telepathy experiments, usually very quickly too. This would be great at jump-starting the formation of a group mind. Ooh. Imagine that? If we were to become the first "nodes" in the network? COOL

Then there is group meditation aimed at Maharishi effects, also a highly worthwhile endeavor. We might want to look into the document experiment's methods and details to find the best way to approach this. I wonder if, by focusing our attention on certain results, we may miss something important. So, I would add one more exercise to Art's schedule: a day where we simply try to make the greatest amount of light available to the highest sources of guidance/judgement that are accessible. That way we make sure that we don't neglect something important.

Thanks for your replies! In trying new things like this, I'm less concerned about getting right than I am about just getting started! ;)

Manny, its nice to follow along with Jim and Carla - I look forward to reviewing the material when completed.

Lala, sounds GREAT! What do you suggest?

Any other ideas/opinions?

well i think we need 3 persons minimum, one (or group) sends, one receives (or group) and one in neutral position ( ake - the all knowing eye...)

steps:

1- define persons or groups
3- define the symbol (only senders and the ake - use P.M.)
2- define hour and day - a. of the s/r meditation b. of the open answers

i cant tell why yet, but ive got the feeling that the neutral figure is important...

? what do you think?

Hi!

Can anyone tell me at what time I should join? I live in Gotehnburg Sweden and we have "summertime" here. Now it's 12.10 PM; 10 minutes past noon. I can't figure out the sideral time thing...

Thanks in advance Liliane

Liliane,

To my knowledge, the only set time is Fridays at 9:00 AM and PM EST. Since the sidereal changes 4 minutes everyday, we've pretty much set that aside - although this would be the perfect time to try lala's experiement. ;)

So, I'd say simply join in at whatever time suits you. I checked your time - you are six hours ahead of EST. So, if you wanted to participate at the same exact time, that would put you 3:00 PM and 3:00 AM. Or, someone else had the idea of using 9:00 AM/PM for each time zone...

Art, I think the chakra idea is great.

As the matter of fact, that is exactly what David did at the group meditation in L.A. and it was fantastic. This is also what I have been doing as I practise meditating, although not one per day, but I like that idea.

It's still a learning experience for me but, as they say, practise makes perfect.

The Fridays 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. have been difficult for me to find quiet time, so it's often quick and unfocused.

I'm going to try what you have suggested and focus on one chakra at a time. Since you left Saturday ???, maybe I'll do them all that day from bottom to top. :)

Thanks for the great ideas and your efforts in this regard, Art.

Kris,

Thank you for your kind words. :)

The Fridays 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. have been difficult for me to find quiet time, so it's often quick and unfocused.

This has been my experience the past few weeks. If I happen to miss out on the 9:00 AM I still go ahead when I can find quiet time. With that said, I do like the 9:00 idea, but am also open to other times. In the end, I think its more important that we have a suitable environment, and hence, a more successful meditation than "forcing" a meditation for the sake of "meeting a clock"...

Lala,

I think you're idea is great. These threads can tend to branch off when talking about different subjects...

I'm game - any one of the "positions" if needed. As I mentioned in an earlier post on this thread, I do believe we should take advantage of the 1300-1400 LST...

It might be appropriate to start up a new thread in this section, looking for volunteers. Again, I'll be happy to join in!

I'm in too!

I think you live in new york Art (please correct me if i am wrong), so i am one hour "before you", what makes it easyer to choose the exact moment for the meditation.
as i work at home, and i can choose any moment to "take a break", i let you choose the best hour and day as you will, it will be perfect for me too.

Well, i think that there is no problem if we start "alone", two ( one sends one receives) is perfect by nature ;)

Lets start next week?

we can alternate the sending receiving poisition to see if we feel more confortable with one or another.... then we can stablish the best for each one

Ah and as we dont have the neutral one ... the only thing that will be needed is that we tell the truth about the results.... if we dont get it right... we must say it, even if it seem boring......

( sorry 10000000 times for the english mistakes, but for each word i woud need babelfish translation, and i'm in the "take a breake" moment so i just didnt make any corrections....... if you prefer i can rewrite the post later, let me know ok!)
