This guy has so many quotes but for me, personally, this one is near the top:

My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.
John Lennon

I did not know much of John Lennon growing up, but what I have learned in my life, I really like what I have seen, heard and felt about this special being that walk among us.

I wonder, just wonder, could he already be back.... reincarnate ;)

Has anyone seen Across the Universe..... all the Beatle songs.....Feel the Love and great messages when you watch this movie .

And what about the name itself, Beatles, powerful bug....I wonder how they came up with this name....

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom - Let it be

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
There will be an answer - Let it be

I remember the day he died, my boyfriend and I sitting on the floor crying...Our relationship wasn't working either so there was double grief... My boyfriend was a Libra , drummer and singer/songwriter like John, I've been singing Imagine and Give Peace a chance through all these years. heard on Margaret Wendt's radioshow that George Harrison was psychic and got in contact with John delivering a message to a man from Johns early student years, this guy having gone in a totally other direction in life, business etc... he was baffeled:eek: when John asked him to recall the incident when he put icecubes inside his shirt at a schoolparty.

Yes, I love that song too. And he was not a perfect person, none of us are. But I think he gave a brilliant, open, and honest interpretation of what he was thinking and feeling here.

I think this is the next step for us all. To be open and honest with each other.

Oooooh transiten, i hate to do this, but Let It Be was 100% Paul McCartney - sorry!

The mother Mary reference is about his own mother, who was called Mary, who died when he was a teenager.

There is something magical about the Beatles, they had a very special energy, and John Lennon was inspriational and an incredible lyricist, but for me the magic was as a group - together they were definately the bringers of many messages.

Oops !! But it is still a great song and deserves recognition. John Lennon or Paul McCarteny. Doesn't matter. They are both great people.

Some more good John Lennon quotes.

Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground.

God is a concept by which we measure our pain.

I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?

If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.

If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliche that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal.

Part of me suspects that I'm a loser, and the other part of me thinks I'm God Almighty.

Possession isn't nine-tenths of the law. It's nine-tenths of the problem.

The more I see the less I know for sure.

Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.

When you're drowning, you don't say 'I would be incredibly pleased if someone would have the foresight to notice me drowning and come and help me,' you just scream.

Hi!

Yes, now that you mention it I can hear Pauls voice..cuause it wasn't John singing it either right? They are All One yes, but I think John was the more radical one. OK so it was about Paul's mother..hmmmm, I was thinking of the saying in the Bible not to worry.."Look at the lilies on the ground and the birds in the sky etc..they don't worry and all the same...etc....

Yesterday I heard the "Blackbird" for the 1:st time this spring...was tht also Paul? he was a great melodymaker.

Hello again

For reasons I'm not revealing here and now I'm taking a break from this Forum, it coincides with me attending a course in mediumship and an opportunity to practice "Let it be" there will be an answer" (even if it was Paul who wrote it about his mother:) ) which means I would have taken a break even without the course interviening.

There has also been strong synchronicities here on the Forum for me that reinforces my desiscion.

I will fill my time reading books for the course AND dig myself through David Wilcocks work.

Thankyou for you attention and the thoughts I've had the opportunity to share with you here.

Never stop searching and questioning, at least until we're all One with OurSelves

This really is the wierdest Lennon tale.

They came in the darkness and had bug-like faces. Stranger still, they left a weird egg-shaped object behind. Uri Geller recalls his friend John Lennon’s encounter with the unknown.

Read the whole (mainstream paper!!) article here.

I live not far from where John bought his aunt Mimi a retirement home. It sits in some of the most expensive real estate in the world. Yoko sold it after his death, should have held on to it for the kids, it's right on the beach!!
