i commend the vatican for acknowledging ets.
this open embrace promotes evolution and growth.
i was considering my relationship to this.
just as i am not a vegetarian(remember i'm 1%hotdog),
my religion cannot be labeled conventionally. nowadays,
our culture is becoming highly intermixed. the lines
are not clear. i break down religion into moments.
specifically, moments that are inspiring. inspiration
to me means "in spirit", and is the means of religion,
which to me means "to re-join".

if you look at the sum total of these inspired moments
in a person's life, that could indicate their religion.
take for example my life. i was raised irish catholic,
and taken to episcopalian churches. so many of these
moments were influenced by christianity. i enjoy
inspiring moments with my wife whom was raised
in a largely jewish community, and through the close
proximity of family friends and boyfriends, this culture
predominated her upbringing. i spent countless hours
surfing and immersed in nature for inspiration. i work
in a factory and spend quality time with a diversity of
people who consider themselves muslims, buddists, jehova
witnesses, baptists, presbyterians, atheists, and
astrologers. so i've had inspiring moments influenced
by them. i have come across a very rich selection of
reading material that have provided inspiration,
including david's work and mars pathfinder related stuff.
a lot of my inspiring friends are 57 varieties.
i've had inspiring moments listening to music, and other
moments watching movies. for example eddy murphy in
dr.dolittle: "great people are weird; be what you are."
i've had inspiring moments during solstices, holding
hands in a circle of people and singing songs..

when you add up these inspiring moments, is it clear
how to label them? another complexity is that no two
inspiring moments are exactly alike, and it may be that
the strongly inspiring ones should be weighed more heavily
into the mix. this gets complicated!

in any case, there is a high degree of interconnection
between all of us. this is made apparent when you
consider the many shared inspiring moments we have.
if i have written anything that inspired you, what
would you attribute that moment to? i would hope that
you would consider "the law of one". my personal
struggle is overcoming my shyness, introversion, and
closure: to open and share, to love and promote
well being, in harmony with this law.

embrace diversity, work to understand and accept
things as they are, acknowledge our interconnection.
this allows us to put more quality attention into
creating and appreciating inspiring moments.

inspired,
pat

the drunkard up in central park.
the hunter in the jungle dark.
the chinese barber.
the english queen.
are all part of the same machine.
how nice, so nice nice.
so many people part of the same device.

this clypso is a rod original.

as we dance through this life o' ours,
da mystries do unwind.

if we keep a lose and free grasp on life,
nothins' gonna bind.

do ya wanta know the difference?
do ya wanta know life's plight?

then just reach yo greedy hands out,
and grab on life real tight.

rod
