View Full Version : Does Ra say anything about future economics?

hi there! after a few months of delving into david's info, i keep trying to imagine the role of money, and economics in general, in the post 2012 world that his work describes. has he given any financial advice as we approach this shift? has the ra material given any insight into this matter? thank-you for any input.

hi scratch
i have not read it all yet, but astrology can tell. i've known for 2 years now that the economy will be problematic, the aspects in the mundaine chart having strong similarities to the 30:ies.

i would imagine that once fourth density consciousness is sufficiently grounded, the first thing you'll see is a wholesale abandonment of the market economy. markets and prices are great at allocating resources when you have incomplete information. as exchanges ripple through the economy, a great deal of information on supply and demand is communicated. unfortunately, it is imperfect information - while it's better than central planning, the information contained in prices is disconnected from other values people pursue.
fourth density will supposedly end the ability of people to deceive one another. given that so many of our core institutions are built on authority, privilege, and simply having a reputation, it's likely that people will tend to associate on a more collaborative, cooperative basis. if you look at highly networked environments such as the internet, a lot of progress in this area is being made with open source and peer-to-peer organization. usually, the end is highly focused on software or some other limited goal - when we achieve fourth density consciousness, this kind of interaction will be available for all ends, on an ad-hoc basis.
you can also expect a lot of economic institutions based on hierarchy to crumble. the command and control corporation, the commodity and financial instrument traders, the banks - none will be needed, because their primary activity is to vet and facilitate transactions that will be able to occur without their help. you'll see an end to middlemen of all sorts - including politicians. people will be able to see the greatest collective need and act, while the group will be able to see the individual's greatest need and act. you don't really need institutions at all for that - people can associate and dissociate as needed.
all my humble opinion, of course, but i've had an interest in the political and economic implications of the law of one for a while now. information flows most freely on the internet, so i think a good way to model our approach towards social memory is to extrapolate from there.

friggin awesome. i don't know if ra explicitely states how that would unfold, but economic insitutions would be increasingly community-based, oriented and driven as the social-memory complex increases in its level of awareness. i think it'd also reach a stage when the idea of a wage would be rediculous...it'd be like asking your wife for $5 every time you cleaned the counter. that same kind of mutually-supportive spirit that is hopefully within families would become extended outwards and harmonized...like a giant earth party and our means and modes of exchange would follow forth from that sense ;)
i think ra intentionally avoided issues of economics and security because these are periphery issues that would probably decrease the vibrational strength of the law of one, undermine the law of confusion and the law of freewill if it were to impose a blueprint on its receivers. if anything, accept that uncertainty and maybe start a food co-op within your communities to anchor that harmony in the present. but the possibilities of expression are infinite...just feel it out with love and faith.

hi jeremy! good to see you're still around.
i haven't seen you for awhile, welcome back!:)
you can also expect a lot of economic institutions based on hierarchy to crumble. the command and control corporation, the commodity and financial instrument traders, the banks - none will be needed, because their primary activity is to vet and facilitate transactions that will be able to occur without their help. you'll see an end to middlemen of all sorts - including politicians. people will be able to see the greatest collective need and act, while the group will be able to see the individual's greatest need and act. you don't really need institutions at all for that - people can associate and dissociate as needed.that sounds pretty good to me, i can't wait! i'm afraid the current economy is gonna get a lot worse before it gets better. i think most people just don't realize what a house of cards that's holding up the current economy, and just a few moves in a certain direction could bring it all crashing down.
but i suppose it's all just a phase we need to move thru, before we can build something better to put in its place. but then who knows, maybe bush will release the wanta funds, and of course it's still possible that nesara could save us all, but i'm not holding my breath.
apparently there's the idea that as pluto traverses through the sign of capricorn - the energy of regeneration becomes available which has potential to "un-block" whatever congestion is getting in the way of the evolutionary intent.
in terms of economy, the metaphoric tri aspect of capricorn: the mountain goat, the sea goat, and the tethered goat may come into play somehow.
it seems easy to imagine the mountain top path opening up, the sea of money expanding in a way allowing greater freedom of movement, and the tethers being slackened/broken. in this sense, i'm quite optimistic...
furthermore, as people awaken to a higher planetary vibration - the value system will necessarily shift creating more opportunity for intangible services such as hypnotherapy, transmedium healings, psychic advice, etc. because the spiritual realities of such workings will become better percieved as creating value in ways which promotes a quality of life that transcends the limitations of outworn materialistic value systems.

some of the most monetarily successful "lightworkers" seem to offer the opportunity for people to "make anonymous offerings" which can lend less of a sense of barter and more of a sense freewill charity. (there can be situations where so much haggling goes on that it taints the quality of service - something to avoid in my opinion, unless one enjoys haggling.)

i think that the ultimate destination is to have no monetary system. in a society of (reasonably) enlightened individuals, the desire to hoard and have more than others won't exist. that old ego mode of thinking will fall away and instead of a planet with a lot of takers, we will have a planet where everyone is a giver. not giving out of obligation, but out of a sense of divine joy, a natural outflowing of energy from each individual's consciousness that knows we are all connected.
when everyone on the planet is a giver, nobody will ever be in lack.
