hello all!
i am new here and just came across david's info a few days ago. i was watching his new video of the l.a. conference and something he mentioned about not raising the chakra's but encircling them in your pineal really made sense to me. i have always been wary of any time the serpent is used in symbology, and the whole kundalinni serpent thing always rubbed me the wrong way.
anyway, during my meditation session that day i decided instead of trying to connect the chackras per say, i imagined them all as spheres eclipsing my pineal. the results were pretty darn startling. i entered a trance state within within minutes where it usually took 45 to an hour. next thing i know, i'm in astral and at the doors of a library. the rest i will save for another time. i just wanted to mention how important the diffrences between the connecting of the chakra's through a hierarchy is potentially erroneous as opposed to using the symbol of the circle.
anyway, the seems like a good forum, so hello to all...

hello greycat,
let me be the first to welcome you here to the forums. this is a wonderful place and we're glad you're here.
thanks for sharing your experience in meditation, very interesting... i have a question because i'm trying to envision exactly what you did. you mentioned that you were visualizing your chakra's as "spheres eclipsing" your pineal gland rather than connecting them... so did you start at the lowest chakra and envision each one, one at a time, in your head where your pineal gland is?i guess what i'm asking is, did you visually move each individual chakra, one at a time, up into your head to surround your pineal gland?
i'd also be interested in hearing the rest of your astral projection story.
thanks for sharing and welcome again,
kelly

hi greycat and welcome:)
since english is not my native language, would you mind explaining what you mean by "spheres eclipsing" your pineal gland?

hello greycat,
i was wondering the same thing that transiten was wondering. what did u mean by eclipsing. are you refering to the same as a solar/lunar eclipse?
and welcome to the forum. = )

hey, greycat... happy to have you among us.
i would like to include my request for a further description of your mediation. was your visualization of the chakras similar to the nested chakras diagram shown in david's presentation?
thanks for any further information you can provide. many of us here have been working on ways to improve our pineal gland's health and activity, and if you've discovered a meditation/visualization that seems to have been right on target, we would love to hear more about it.
love and light,
nancy

apologies for the late reply. i was off in the woods for easter break here in oslo...
i will answer all the requests, which were quite similar.
the concept of 'eclipsing' the chackras just sort of came to me from something that david said on his newest video.
i have had this inspiration for years about circles and pyramids. the circle encompasses every point equally and returns back to it. the pyramid takes a single point where something is both 'above' and 'below' it.
my first idea started by studying ancient cultures that revered the circle such as the celts. they built most of their places or worship around circles. a direct contrast from the egyptian empires with their pyramids. also, they created dances that exist to this day all of which involved whirling movements, all quite circular. to sum this up would take too long, but if you look into most cultures, they are based either on the circle or the pyramid/triangle.
many meditation techniques instruct you to connect these chackras and they suggest a sort of 'upward' progression. this is how i was envisioning this connection for a while now. i got results, probably because i was sincere in my disciplines, but when i reflect upon it, i was considering one chackra to be 'better' or 'higher' than the other. many probably don't do this, but i suspect that i was doing it unconsciously.
then this new inspiration came to me, as i have said. so i imagined each chackra instead as a ball, or sphere representing a particular aspect of my existence both important, profound, and different than the next, but not 'better'. i then made the spheres grow, till all of them eclipsed each other around my body. symbolically it represented all conscious aspects of my life, part of me, no moment or aspect more important than the other as each was part of this circle/sphere. the eclipsing of these spheres i centered around the center of my head, the center of my connection here in this density.
i know this sounds simple, and most of you probably do this, but for me it represented quite a shift. i usually envisioned the chackras as you would see them on a chart or graph. and would slowly feel the energy go from my base, to the top of my head. it's a fun exercise, and energizing as well. but this new understanding propelled me into a state that usually took me hours of meditation to obtain.
to answer the other question. while in this state, i came to a very large, cathedrial like building. i went inside to a sort of 'waiting room'. a man came out and asked if i would like to enter the 'library'. i said i was not sure i could. "well." he said. "why don't you have a look around this room and see what you can.".
all this time, i was having trouble keeping the connection. i could feel my mind wanting to filter in it's own interpretation of what was happening and i always try to have as objective a 'filter' as possible while in these states. you see, they are much like dream states where you can create what you want at will. the thing is, i would probably create what i wanted to see, instead of what was actually there. this would lead to the vision/information being biased and 'corrupted'.
basically, the conduit wasn't strong enough in this new state for me to do more than 'look around' and try to remember the 'flavor' of this particular state. i stayed a while in that room, just sort of wandering around until it vanished. at that point, i was surprised to find myself in contact with more of these entities. they claim they are service to other beings, and are glad to answer any questions i have that will not abridge free will. this of course means they cannot tell me much in the way of concrete answers. instead they tell me i am doing well and have been progressing quite far. they offered me the most important of energies, the energy of inspiration. when they did this, it filled my entire being with a feeling of joy/adventure/knowledge unexplainable and very powerful. i felt propelled and energized to the point where it was almost frightening. as soon as i started to feel this fear, it subsided and i found myself back in my body, but incredibly 'high' and somewhat discombobulated.
i have only had three or four 'travels' of this magnitude before (but many other lucid dreams and meditation experiences, to say the least.). this one left me dazed, but in a way where i felt a part of me was still attached to that realm.
very cool stuff.
