virus-wary 'puter people,
a bloody virus has hit the group, to wit from my server:

sentto-2400357-2571-1006827801-tarzan=ncws.com@... (/group/asc2k/post?postid=zhel6t4gar_xrbp_pufpjnbpxssn-qw-wtr0ild_mg0g0cu9ndvjvjepf9vemcgyoan7uixj8dzafghdhc 67spopdhpye8mcllstt_jatcgoq9zw_tdtak6srju9uwcsw2b3 jfm), with the
subject "re: [asc2k] digest number 322".
the e-mail containing the virus has been quarantined to prevent further
damage.
the virus name is : w32/badtrans.b@mm.

i just had received the same kind of virus from a friend of mine and, since
the subject line was not like a genuine one from them, i deleted it
immediately without clicking on it, thankfully.
to delete it without clicking on it(for windows users), first scroll amongst
your e-mails to an e-mail right next to the virus one; then hold down your
shift key and while holding it down, hit the "down arrow" key in the part of
the keyboard that has the four directional arrows and this should cause the
lines of the selected e-mails to be colorized, then hit the delete key and
say "yes" that you wish to deleted the selected e-mails.
