hi everyone,

just a note to all who may be attending the conscious life expo feb 8-11 in los angeles. as far as i know at least three of us are going for sure and we all agree that it would be wonderful to meet in person once we're there, so if any of you are planning to be there add your name to this post so we can connect.

blessings,
kelly

hi dave,
don't be anxious about going... it should be a wonderful experience! i'm flying all by myself from fl and kris and megan are from canada and none of us know each other, but soon we will! mark lives in la (i assume) and i also assume you live somewhere in ca too, right? we'll plan a get-together and have a great time together. the main draw for me aside from attending the workshops, is being in the midst of so many like-minded people. i hope you'll think more about going, i would love to meet you :)

i believe every day needs a day pass-that is so you can visit all the free stuff that is going on. the workshops and panels are extra. chris

hi snowflower and all who are attending,

i'm so glad there's another person we can add to our list.
i'm not sure as to what the best way for us to all get together will be... i know that kris and megan and i will all be arriving on friday and we plan to get together for a bite to eat sometime that evening. and i know that others are not arriving until saturday. i thought sunday might be a good day for us to meet as a group to say hi and put faces with names but that's as far as i've gotten. any suggestions? anyone good at planning? :) what should we do?

anyone who would like my cell phone number... feel free to pm me and i'll send it to you. i've already exchanged numbers with several others, i figure it's the best way for us to connect once we're there.

kelly :)

hello,

i'm going to be in florida that weekend so i can't make the expo however, i'm flying in monday morning feb 11th for david's post-conference workshop. hope to meet some of you as well!

take care and see you soon.

ok,

i'm up for meeting up any time saturday & sunday and friday evening (since i work till 5:30pm that day). i don't see any problem with meeting up more than once, but don't mind meeting up one time as well. it all depends on who's able and willing to meet up and what works for you and your schedule.

my schedule is open for that weekend (feb 8th - 10th) so i don't have a issue with the day and time of meeting up as a group or a few of us at a time. just let me know...

dear friends,

a "global awakening?" lets make it that. i challenge dw, rh, william henry, jmj and the rest of the 2012 gang to take their "show" global. first stop oslo, norway. i'll even help promote the event.

get on the train ;-)

lighteye,

that's a great idea! i wonder if dw would consider doing something like that... or any of the rest you mentioned. i'd like to see [a conspiricist] on that list as well. hopefully something will come out of this idea you proposed.

hi to anyone,

i saw and met dw over the weekend at the conscious life expo. i also met kac527, chris hamilton (and her mother, a great woman!), kris, megan and markm (over the phone! haha) all great people!

one thing about david that you definitely don't get from the videos posted on this site is that he's much more (spiritual, intelligent and humorous) than you can possibly imagine... unless you were to meet and see him in person of course. i personally felt that i finally met someone who totally knows and understands who i am... even by a look eye to eye. it was quite an experience. i respect the man for who he is and what he is doing... i have much love for him.

he has a lot of new material he came out with during his talk yesterday... stuff he has never come out with before so be ready for a bus load of new information. unfortunately he ran out of time before he could finish with all his new info he had to share with us. but, i'm sure it'll be presented on video from his talk today which is going to be 3 hours long (compared to yesterdays 1 1/2 hour long session).

so, be ready for some great new material!

i went yesterday it was great lots of new stuff but he ran out of time. he started a half hour late as twice as many people expected showed up and they had to find more chairs to bring in. i enjoyed david alot but overall the rest of the merchant area was a bit of a turn off. too much new age for profit literally forced in your face it was pretty creepy if you ask me. i would like to see david next time at a solo event.

kac527

the expo was amazing... i have never experienced love so concentrated like that anywhere in my entire life... being in the midst of so many like-minded, loving, non-judgemental people has made an impression upon me that will change my life forever. please forgive me if i'm sounding trite but it truly was more than i could have hoped for, i had no idea what to expect and the reason i went in the first place, besides wanting to meet david, was because it finally came to the point where i couldn't not go... something was drawing me.
the expo offered something for everyone... and as for me, the "positive" (as opposed to gloom and doom) 2012 panel discussions and david's session were my favorites overall, and the exibitors hall was interesting too. and yes, there were a lot of "new agey" marketers in attendance selling their wares but where halebox thought it "creepy", i found it exhilarating (take what you need and leave the rest kind of thing... we all have bills to pay so no big deal). i met so many interesting and wonderful people from all over this country and beyond but best of all i was able to connect with people from this forum: kris, megan, chris hamilton, mark (one 66), and of course david who is as kind and loving and compassionate as he appears to be on his videos, but magnify that about a million times in person. and thank you david for working so hard to come up with new info just for us... :) if people weren't crying when they left your session (in a good way) they were in awe and left wanting more! i hope that everyone on this forum has the opportunity to hear and see what was shared with us.

kris, megan, chris, and mark... spending time with all of you was even more wonderful for me than the information i got from the sessions i attended and that's saying a lot. the price of being an "awake" human being can be lonliness at times and we all recognize that in some sense... sitting and talking with you guys the past few nights was like being with long lost family members, i love you and miss you already! my cup is full and overflowing and i'm ready to share it with the rest of the world.

looking forward to next year...

the merchant area reminded of the scene from the movie excaliber (came out in the early 80s) when the charactor percival walks through the castle to go to the 'kitchens' and ends up walking through a scene of magicians and performers etc and bumps into merlin. anyone who's seen that movie knows what i'm talking about! haha :d

so i left l.a. at 9:00 this morning and it is now 11:00 in the evening and i'm waiting for my connecting flight to buffalo to hopefully show up so i can drive the two and a half hours home and you know what, if it takes the rest of the night it was definately worth it.

unfortunately, kelly and mark (one 66) and chris couldn't stay for david's post conference on monday.

it was supposed to be three hours but it ended up being five and a half. the first 3 hours david went over the material from "2012 the enigma" and when they needed that conference room we found another room. about 30 of us sat on the floor while david led us through a 2 hour meditation basically on unblocking our chakkra's.

by the end of this i was so filled with love and joy it defies words. tears were streaming down my face. the energy and love in the room was so intense. it was so beautiful.

david then did a half hour q and a.

this was all video taped so i'm sure you guys will have the opportunity to see it.

david's sunday lecture was the second most attended workshop doing better than all the "big name" guys like richard hoagland, sean david morton, william henry etc.

i enjoyed many other lectures and workshops and the panels that david was a part of were very interesting as well.

david is a very funny man as well as kind, warm and charasmatic.
people who had never heard of him before loved him and his message.

anyway i could go on and on but let me end by saying megan (my roomie), kelly, chris, (and your lovely mother ) mark, brent, snowflower and, of course david, what a pleasure it was to meet you guys. i felt so comfortable, like i've known you guys forever. what a blessing it was for me. i am truly thankful for being able to attend and meet such wonderful, like-minded people.

so much love...:)

if anyone can make it next year, i highly recommend it.

hopefully, i willl make it home at some point tonight.

with much gratitude

kris

nice report, kris and i'm glad that you had a wonderful time.

i've experienced guided meditations before and every single one of them sucked for me, because i'm caught in an impossible situation of needing to read one's lips, which requires me to keep my eyes open, which prevents me from going through the guided-meditation steps that can only be done with eyes closed that others can do with ease. anybody with hearing issues would have trouble with this.

i have a better chance of unblocking my darn chakras by walking through an automatic car wash...

thanks for sharing kris... what an experience that must have been for all of you. i just posted on another thread an inquiry as to the process for chakra meditation because i've never done that kind of meditation before... you and i spoke about that. so i am hoping and praying that we are able to have a copy of the 2 hour meditation session you went through with david so that we can use it too! the effects from my expo experience have been long lasting, it's a bit hard to explain but i feel different and i've noticed that people are receiving me differently. i want to keep this magic...

how do i start to describe how awesome this weekend was?

from the first moment there i felt like i was reunited with family. i had a strong sense of deja vu that i knew everyone already. we connected immediately. kelly, kris, chris, jane, mark, brent, snowflower and of course david my heart bursts thinking of you all. i miss you already.

within 30 seconds of meeting we were having great deep discussions and this lasted the whole weekend. we never once talked about the weather :-) !

davids workshop was definitely the best of them. with some amazing new information and a lot of great never seen before pictures. it was presented with tons of love , compassion, humour and knowledge. thank you!!!

the meditation was an amazing experience for me. the love and acceptance in the room afterwards was palpable. thanks for the hugs everyone!!!

i'm sorry mozart for your previous experiences with guided meditation. perhaps next time forget about the words and just concentrate on the feelings and the energy and the moment.

my plane was an hour and a half late. it was probably mirroring the fact that i didn't want to leave!

there were many other workshops and seminars available as well. on a lot of different topics. i enjoyed them all. it was an action packed weekend and i would do it again in a heartbeat.

thank you , thank you, thank you.

i love you all.

ahhh, i hadn't seen david since 2003....slaving away at sometimes 40 posts a day and dragging myself to the computer to approve (or not) posts. members yelling at me all the time when they didn't get their post in.....yeh, i was ready to just sit and let d do the entertaining for a bit ;). what i didn't expect was meeting the great people from our forum. megan (meganarline), kris, kelly (kac), and mark (one 66). i know there were others but they must have been having such a good time, they didn't hook up with us. i know snowflower was there and some others. wish we could have met too.

david didn't speak alone until sunday, but he was on a 2012 panel hosted by george noory on saturday, and me and my mom (she's 83 and everyone loved her), attended that. noory is adept at his speaker job, believe me, and is just so smooth about graciously accepting every single sales pitch that was swatched at him, i was impressed. then, when the panel started, we had sean morton, dannion brinkley, hoagland, david, and william henry and noory moderating-what a group! if morton (shades of cayce, ay?) hadn't been talking so much, maybe dw could have gotten a word in edgewise. lol

we met megan and kris (kelly wasn't feeling good, darn) that night for a comedy club that was spiritually-based, and we just had the best laughs with 3 great comedians. what fun we all had. and, synchronicity being what it can be, between the comedy and panel, my mother and i went to dinnner in the main dining room and d and brinkley sat right next to us. ahhh synchronicity, my friend. love it.

sunday was action-packed, with d's workshop at 2. my mom and i decided to go to hoagland's lecture at 12, and he had a shortage of seats, but we managed to get 2nd row seats. he ended up starting late, which made us leave early so we could see david's workshop ontime....well, there, my synchronicity eluded me, cuz we were there at the front on time in nice seats.

but, the planners had not anticipated what the attendance would be. oh, boy! they made me move 5 times, placing people in front of me on the floor, and when i yelled a protest, the woman could only say "calm down, calm down". $*** i said, i am david's moderator and i am not moving! (first time i ever used a title to get what i want) lol.....so much those pukey new agers trying to make you sublimate your feelings. anyway, he gave a great lecture considering he was pushed for time and they didn't even supply him with a screen for his presentation-he had to go out and hunt for one. i think we broke every safety rule with the way the seats were placed, but david delivered expertly and remained calm throughout, although i knew he was fuming :). good work d!

sunday evening was another 2012 panel with david, morton, and brinkley again (i loved brinkley, what a character!), and kira raa and hubby, and armitron. armitron sounded rehearsed and didn't seem to fit in the panel of positive speeches. kira was charismatic and very strong on the positive message for 2012. i liked her and her husband, although my opinion is that kira is the strongest one of that union. morton was the moderator, and, surprised me that he made sure everyone was able to speak. he is a good mod. dannion, well, i love him, he is great. then, this time, the panel gave david equal time and he blew alot of people away. another great presentation there.

after the panel, our forum group met up at the bar as the grammys were running. it was noisy to be sure, but we all bonded and were having such a nice time. love you all!

then on monday morning, my mom needed to go home-she wanted to be back for my stepdad, and she lives about an hour away from the expo site. so, i sacrificed the david's lecture on monday to take her home. and sat there frumping at her house as i saw the hours ticking away, knowing what a great time everyone there was still having............

my mom loved it and wants to go back next year. this time she wants to stay the whole time. david, you are stuck :)

love you all,chris

hello beautiful creatures, :)

i'm so glad everyone had such a wonderful experience and you took the time to share it with everyone here. i also found it truly amazing. i went to all of david's talks/panels and the workshop on monday and many other speakers, (i loved william henry's talk)

everything david spoke of and the vibration he carried left me feeling so incredible with so much love, enthusiasm and gratitude for the truth of what he is bringing to everyone.

he was fun, brilliant and beautiful. it was a transformational experience that i am deeply grateful for. i am beyond happy to now have such a positive knowingness (is that a word) about our bright future.

i loved meeting brent, kris, megan and andy. (kelly over the phone) chris and the rest of you hopefully next time.

loving gratitude to you all

hi everyone.

i'm new to the forum part so i'm not totally sure if this can be posted. (sorry chris) last night i heard a free live talk with william henry and james gilliland who both spoke at the expo. it was fascinating and so nice to hear them live just after the expo. it was easy to draw so many parallels to what david talks about. i heard it on bbs station 1 on the james gilliland show called: as you wish.
