dear friends,

something wonderful this way comes...

love to all.

re-gardless of how things may seem to-day to you see everything for what it is and what it is not.

and know that all these things too shall pass...

it was written...

"all these things you shall do and even more..."

a promise of things to come...

...are these three things below, in a haiku form (though not spoken in a haiku form):

sweet solstice, y'all!

merry christ-consciousness day!

bifurcation year!

most people get it right away when i tell them the first two things and they particularily love the "christ-consciousness" one, but most go "huh?" with the last one, which gives me a chance to quickly explain it by sharing a snippet of smelyakov's work and a chance to write down the url of this site to give them an opportunity to go check it out and to add to their enlightenment.

some of them have later seen me at the store and several have stopped me and say "wow! what info in that site!...thank you!". that makes me smile.

so merry christ-consciousness day, y'all.

it is interesting that you should mention christ consciousness mozart, i was just asking myself earlier about why i love the atmosphere so much at christmas and then i stopped to consider what we are actually celebrating. maybe christmas feels so amazing because we are celebrating christ consciousness itself. it is a time for family and friends to gather and give and receive gifts as a token of their love for each other. it makes me feel even people who don't consider themselves to be 'religious' in any way subconsciously appreciate christmas for the love it brings to their lives every year. deep down we all want to celebrate christ consciousness. i hope everyone is having/has had a wonderful day. merry christmas to everyone!
