I also live in Vancouver and looking forward to the conference next week. I noticed that one of Nassim Haramein's delegates, Jamie Janover is also doing a 3 day talk on the same weekend. I hope this doesn't interfere with David's talk. I hope he sells all his tickets. I've been reposting the conference on my facebook page and have one friend coming with me!!

I live in Vancouver. I am happy the conference is coming to Vancouver.

To get from the airport to downtown - It is easy to take the Skytrain to Vancouver.

The walkway to the Skytrain is in the airport. Just ask airport information what Skytrain stop to get off at. You will need Canadian coin/paper $ to purchase the ticket.

The picture of the Raven and man is a piece in the Museum. It is really beautiful place and museum. If you can go David, please go, you will like it. The totem poles are very expressive :D Walk down the steps in the back you'll see a beautiful beach :-)

From a local

"Take a 30-minute taxi ride to the hotel for approximately $35 CAD, or take the airport shuttle, a one-hour trip, for approximately $15 CAD. To reserve a shuttle ride, call 604-946-8866 after April 1, 2012."

IF your travelling between 1 am to 6 am. That is a couple of good options - better still is to take our new and beautiful skytrain built especially for the purpose of taking people from the airport to downtown. Think Olympics - $8.50 and 27mins to Vancouver City Centre walk up to Robson - ask anyone will tell you which direction south is and then west 6 blocks. Robson is a busy until late at night, most shops and restaurants stay open late too.

We are known to have a very busy downtown with lots of tourists. So it is not uncommon to see people walking with their suitcases at all. Especially in August!

Have fun! and welcome to beautiful British Columbia!
Cheers
